This decadent shave cream from gives you a mighty close shave without leaving legs devoid of moisture—and is made in the U.S. from eco-friendly ingredients. And, unlike its distant peers, this formula is designed not to foam up: instead, the rich lotion is chock full of organic and natural botanicals that soften skin. A moisturizing base of omega-rich squalene, organic shea butter, jojoba oil, and coconut oil protects against the redness and irritation associated with shaving, while organic green tea extracts infuse skin with antioxidants.
I was actually really excited to use this product to try a different type of shaving cream or gel but this product is not for me. It applies to the leg as a thin layer and I actually ended up slicing my leg open. I think I will stick to the cream, but it did smell nice!1
Hello. I would have loved to try this item but unfortunately I am highly allergic to coconuts so I had to pass. What a shame.1
I enjoy trying new shaving creams. The first thing I noticed was the fresh fragrance. It was nice and light. The next thing I noticed when I used it was that on my legs, it felt more like a hair conditioner than a traditional shaving cream. It did not lather up like I expected. As I rinsed the shaving cream off my hands, my hands felt a little dry/sticky. I shaved my legs. I used less on my right leg and found that a little did not go a long way. I used two or three times as much on my left leg. The stuff was a little hard to wash off my razor, but it worked fine. When I got out of the shower, I noticed that my legs and feet and toenails were covered in a white residue. Any where the cream had run off or touched had a film over it. My skin felt dry afterwards. I do not recommend this product at all.1
I had high hopes for the sample that I received. My legs are not really dry, but I love grapefruit, and wanted to try this. There are no directions on the packaging, so I wasn't sure how much to use. There certainly isn't enough to get a thick, creamy layer on, and after using a thin layer, I couldn't even see where I applied it. The initial smell of grapefruit was nice, but it has a musty linger to it that is gross. It continued to clog up my razor as I shaved, so I had to rinse... And subsequently lost my place. Even if I liked it, there is not enough cream for two whole legs... Oh, and my legs were dry, flaky, and irritated after the whole ordeal. I think I'll stick with eos.1
I used this product this morning and found that it was just to cream-like for my taste. It was hard to spread over large areas and gooped up my razor. I will stick with my normal soap or other shaving cream products in the future.1
I did not like this product. I felt that once it became wet it felt like glue. I also wasn't a fan of the smell. I'll stick with my current product.1
It smells way too sweet for me. The blueberry sample I got reminds me of gummy bears in smell. The product itself is a little drying and the cheaper products I've used seems to have better results.1
The biggest turn off for me was the smell. I received the Acai grapefruit sample and it reminded me of Pine Sol! Normally I love all my samples but this one was not a winner. I did get a very close shave and my skin felt smooth after but it did feel dry after.1
The product smells great, but it actually caused razor burn. It might just be my razor, but the product did not seem to "moisturize" as it claims it does. I'd rather just use conditioner to shave with.1
This product was alright, I'm not sure if they just didn't provide a big enough sample to be effective- or if it's just not an effective product. I used the sample to shave the lower half of each leg with a new razor and I felt like the razor was getting stuck.1
