This decadent shave cream from gives you a mighty close shave without leaving legs devoid of moisture—and is made in the U.S. from eco-friendly ingredients. And, unlike its distant peers, this formula is designed not to foam up: instead, the rich lotion is chock full of organic and natural botanicals that soften skin. A moisturizing base of omega-rich squalene, organic shea butter, jojoba oil, and coconut oil protects against the redness and irritation associated with shaving, while organic green tea extracts infuse skin with antioxidants.
I thought the smell was incredible - it really does make you want to eat something juicy and sweet! But,the smell doesn't linger on your skin and washes away with the water. The product itself didn't seem so effective in making my skin more hydrated. I felt no difference between this product and my cheaper, low end item that I buy at Wal-Mart. For that reason, I would not buy this product. I do like the way it smells, though.1
I usually use a moisturizing body wash to shave, but was excited to try this sample. It sounded like the consistency would be similar to what I usually use. I am not a fan. I didn't experience the foaming others mentioned, but I did feel some drag as I tried to shave my legs, and noticed spots I missed (a result of re-positioning from the drag?). The scent was powdery at first, but it was more citrusy later and I liked that. After shaving, my skin felt like it had been stripped.1
I was really optimistic when I saw this in my box. I love a good shave cream. However - I was really let down after using. The product description boasts its moisturizing properties and I didn't get any of that with using it. It was very dry and actually made me nervous while shaving my underarms because I thought I was going to cut myself! I will not be purchasing this product :(1
The acai grapefruit scent is not at all pleasing. The texture is thin. This product for me was a flop.1
I rarely use shaving cream (soap works just as well), but was not impressed with this product. The texture was not thick or foamy and you need to use a lot to coat the area you are shaving. Overall not very effective.1
It worked for my vacation, but I wouldn't use it on a regular basis. I hated the smell of it and it didn't really condition my legs while shaving like it said it would.1
This smelled like throw-up. It gave me terrible razor burn. It didn't moisturize or lather at all. I hated it. I used it once and threw it out. It was terrible.1
I didn't like how this product smelled. I did not like that it was virtually no effective. I get the same result if not better from my normal shave gel. did not glide smoothly1
The smell is somewhat acidic and offputting. I got the acai grapefruit. I got past the smell and used the product on my legs in the shower. It went on smooth and seemed to give a close shave, but when I rinsed it off it seemed to make my skin sticky and I had to follow by washing with my regular soap. It also doesn't seem to moisterize well because my legs seem drier than normal. Usually I would give a product a second try, but I really don't think I can get past the smell. Cute packaging though!1
I didn't like this product at all. It didn't really help in shaving. It didn't help the razor glide. I had to use a ton just so it would work relatively well. The scent was also not impressive. I wouldn't buy this.1
