This decadent shave cream from gives you a mighty close shave without leaving legs devoid of moisture—and is made in the U.S. from eco-friendly ingredients. And, unlike its distant peers, this formula is designed not to foam up: instead, the rich lotion is chock full of organic and natural botanicals that soften skin. A moisturizing base of omega-rich squalene, organic shea butter, jojoba oil, and coconut oil protects against the redness and irritation associated with shaving, while organic green tea extracts infuse skin with antioxidants.
I was so excited to get this in my box because I've been tempted to get it for a while now and never got around to it. This is why I love BirchBox because you get to try samples before purchasing and I don't like this shave cream. I prefer something foamy so I can see where the next razor stroke needs to be, I didn't care for the scent, and it left my bathtub a mess!! On the positive side I didn't cut myself and it seemed moisturizing but I'll stick with my drugstore brand.2
I really wanted to like this but cannot get over the price tag. Traditional shaving creams tend to dry my skin out forcing me to use lotion afterwards and I don't always like to, especially in the hot, humid summers in south Texas. Because of this, I began using a small amount of conditioner in place of traditional shaving creams. This process has worked well for me. I do agree this product works well while shaving and it keeps my skin from drying out too much but I cannot find a reason to pay the price of this. Until the price is lowered I will not purchase this.2
This product was nice, but not for the price. I find that traditionally shave creams do just as well. I will not be buying this product.2
Who even uses shaving cream when a good moisturizing body wash does the job better? But anyway.. this cream didn't foam as much as a product like this should, especially in order for it to have buying appeal. It felt like I was using body lotion on my legs in the shower. The smell wasn't pleasant either.2
I love the way this cream is so thick and really helped my legs feel super soft however... The sample I received was the acai grapefruit scent and it just reminded me of a puke smell the entire time I used it! yuk....2
I'm not too impressed with this product. It wasn't like a traditional shave cream that foams up, it was creamy and did the trick but not foamy like expected. Didn't care for the scent at all.2
I did not enjoy the smell of this shaving cream. It was very overpowering and not to my liking. However, my legs did feel nice and smooth after using this product.2
Did not love this product. It had a weird smell almost like baby spit up or how a frat house smells after a big party. I feel like I have used much cheaper products that are much better.2
I thought the product wasn't bad. It was creamy instead of soapy and foamy. But the smell was awful. I got the grapefruit one and I couldn't even finish my sample because it smelt so bad. I would probably try out a different smell, but at this time I would definitely not buy the product.2
This product has a fantastic scent, but an extremely watery texture and left a horrible film in my bathtub. I would not purchase this again. I'm not sure if it was a combination of my water composition and the product, or the product itself but I had to clean the bathtub after using this product due to a thick film it left on the sides.2
