Having to shave becomes pleasurable, not painful with this rich, non-drying shave cream. Made with eco-friendly ingredients, the formula gives you a smooth shave without leaving skin devoid of moisture. Rather than foaming, it features a lotion-like texture chock full of organic and natural botanicals that soften skin. The addictive scents with hints of almond, blueberry, coconut, lavender, lemongrass, and pomegranate will also sweeten the deal.
I wasn't super jazzed about this product. I used it and although it worked I wasn't crazy about it. I feel it worked just as well as a high end gel shaving product from the drugstore. I defiantly had to clean my razor more often while using this because of the shea butter or other ingredients that makes this product so buttery. My legs were not as dry after shaving, but not worth a purchase.2
I received a sample of this that seemed half empty to begin with and then was enough to shave one of my legs (seriously then I ran out). It smelled good: it was the blueberry scent but I also smelled some coconut. I liked that a lot but that's it. There was no lather which required me to use more product if it was there and I could feel the razor burn that was going to come after while I was shaving, it burned, itched, and even with lotion after my legs were not feeling nice.2
This is the third time I have received a Whish shaving cream in my tenure at Birchbox, and I have to say that I am, despite the different scent, still disappointed. I do not like the texture, find the scent overwhelming and do not really enjoy the slimy-ish feeling it leaves after use. Will not ever purchase these products.2
The product itself is okay. I usually just use dove soap to shave and skip the shaving cream all together. I have sensitive skin, so I worry about trying new products on it. My legs feel soft, and the blueberry scent is pleasant, but I had to use a lot of product to shave my legs. Although this IS a nice product, I'm a person that likes to shave my legs on a daily basis, and I'm fairly certain that I would use up an entire bottle of this stuff in about a week, so it's just not cost effective for the amount of product that needs to be applied to get a nice shave.2
This was a repeat sample for me, and to me shave cream is shave cream. I did like the scent (I think the previous one I got was raspberry...), but for a couple bucks I'd just as soon get some drugstore brand or even some spare conditioner and invest in a good moisturizer.2
While I love the scent (I received Blueberry) and the fact that the ingredients are natural and organic, this shave cream feels just like any other. No extra moisture or anything, and I just don't see myself paying $20 for a full sized tube of shaving cream when I can buy one with the same ingredients at Wal-Mart for less than $10.2
The sample was small. The smell was overwhelming. I didn't like the feel and did not get a good shave from it. Overall a dud.2
I was pretty excited to try this out. Used it today and the smell is so terrible. I received the blueberry version and it smells like cheap air freshener. It does not lather or foam so there's no way I could even shave one leg with this sample size. It left my skin feeling itchy. Next...2
Didn't work well for shaving. Just using my usual body wash works better that using this "special" product. Not sure what the point of this is.2
I was not a fan of the smell. And I didn't feel the shaving cream worked as well as others I've tried.2
