This decadent shave cream from gives you a mighty close shave without leaving legs devoid of moisture—and is made in the U.S. from eco-friendly ingredients. And, unlike its distant peers, this formula is designed not to foam up: instead, the rich lotion is chock full of organic and natural botanicals that soften skin. A moisturizing base of omega-rich squalene, organic shea butter, jojoba oil, and coconut oil protects against the redness and irritation associated with shaving, while organic green tea extracts infuse skin with antioxidants.
I have very sensitive skin and I require more of a lather. I prefer a shaving gel.
If your skin doesn't require much, then this should be fine. It wasn't my favorite.
I really wasn't a fan of this product. It didn't foam up like I thought it would and unless I am using it wrong, it felt like lotion, when I thought it was shaving cream.2
At first I was excited to try this sample, but after using it to shave one armpit, I knew right away I didn't like it. Not only was the fragrance a little much, but it burned after I shaved, and throughout the whole day my armpit itched! Glad I chose only to shave one with it.2
I got the Acai grapefruit scent and it wasn't as citrusy as I had hoped. It smelled terrible, perhaps another scent would be more appealing.2
While the product does just what it says it should in providing a "moisturizing shave" - this is the first product in 6 months of BB samples that I have thrown away, the smell was just aweful. Truly smelled more like rotting grapefruit than Acai Grapefruit in my opinion!2
While this product worked fine, I found myself distracted by some sort of "off" smell which was definitely not grapefruit.2
It smelled nice but the sample was barely enough to cover both legs and it was just alright. For such a high price point you'd think it'd be spectacular but its no better than drug store brands2
Not that great, honestly. It was definitely a close shave, but it made my legs dry both during and after shaving. I usually use the EOS shaving cream, and in my opinion, this product isn't as great as the EOS stuff. It's twice as expensive in a smaller package, and not as effective.2
I normally use a razor/soap combo. I figured I would give this a try. I am used to "foamy" shaving cream. It wasn't like that . I was afraid that I was going to have in issue with "razor burn". I did not. It smelled good. I think I will stick with what I use now.2
Overall the packaging, smell and consistency they got right. On the other hand, it really didn't do much for me. I felt I had to use a lot in order to even get minimal results.
If you're looking for a classic, effective shaving cream--this probably is not your best bet. If you want a nice smelling cream to just lightly dust a razor over your legs, this might be it.
