This decadent shave cream from gives you a mighty close shave without leaving legs devoid of moisture—and is made in the U.S. from eco-friendly ingredients. And, unlike its distant peers, this formula is designed not to foam up: instead, the rich lotion is chock full of organic and natural botanicals that soften skin. A moisturizing base of omega-rich squalene, organic shea butter, jojoba oil, and coconut oil protects against the redness and irritation associated with shaving, while organic green tea extracts infuse skin with antioxidants.
Horrible bubblegum smell....almost didn't even want to use it. Goes on like a lotion and you literally have to use the entire sample just to shave your legs...did not find this to be effective as a shave cream AT ALL. Not sure where they were really going with this product but it's one of the worst I've ever received in a birchbox.2
I was excited to try this product and was very disappointed! The overpowering smell of sour milk really influenced my opinion. Overall the product assisted in shaving but also didn't leave my legs hydrated like it said it would - did not notice a difference in that respect.2
I was excited to get this as a sample, but very disappointed when I used the product. I did not like the smell at all, and normally I like grapefruit. I also felt that the shaving cream was not thick enough. I would not buy this product.2
I received the grapefruit sample in my Birchbox this month. When I smelled it before using it, I thought it was wonderful. Using it in the shower was a totally different story. There was something really nauseating about the smell when I actually used it. Nothing really exceptional about the product that would make me go out of the way to purchase a different scent. I'll stick to using baby oil for shaving, thanks.2
I got the acai grapefruit scented cream and I really don't like the smell too much. I mean it's OK but it's not a scent I would ever purchase. Anyways the good part of this shave cream is that after I wash off the cream the scent is much more pleasant and my legs feel silky and moisturized after using this. Maybe I'd buy this but in a different scent.2
It doesn't lather well. I feel like there's no difference between using this and my hair conditioner to shave. It didn't do anything for me.2
I enjoyed the consistency. It was smooth, not a lot of lather, but it still worked. But the scent was off. Smelled like vomited mix drinks.2
This stuff smells amazing! I just wish the product was actually effective. The texture of it clogs the razor and I don't even feel like it protects my legs. I was worried about getting razor burn the whole time. For me the smell is a 5 but the usefulness is a 2.2
My main complaint is that the cream leaves a white residue. It was ok to sample but I would never buy this product. The grapefruit smell wasn't appealing either.2
I was very excited to get the Whish Shave Crave Shaving Cream in my box. I have a shaving gel that I've been using pretty exclusively for years and I wouldn't mind branching out. The smell, in package, was great, but when I squeezed it out onto my hand there was a much stronger, bitter smell. My legs did feel dry after shaving, which is what the product advertises itself as avoiding. I'll stick with the shave gel that I like that isn't drying.2
