This decadent shave cream from gives you a mighty close shave without leaving legs devoid of moisture—and is made in the U.S. from eco-friendly ingredients. And, unlike its distant peers, this formula is designed not to foam up: instead, the rich lotion is chock full of organic and natural botanicals that soften skin. A moisturizing base of omega-rich squalene, organic shea butter, jojoba oil, and coconut oil protects against the redness and irritation associated with shaving, while organic green tea extracts infuse skin with antioxidants.
I was so in love with the product scent at first, but then I used it and felt like a grease ball, the product didn't apply smoothly to my legs and was more of a big messy glob..2
I typically don't use shaving creams, but was very open to trying this product. Judging by the other reviews other people seem to have enjoyed it, but I personally did not like the smell of acai grapefruit. The sour/sweet smell didn't sit well with me.2
While the scent is fine, I prefer my shave cream to foam.2
I don't normally use shave cream so I was happy to get this sample. However I don't think it really worked that well. It didn't seem to stick to my skin very well which made it hard to shave over. Also, it seemed like I had to use a lot of product for it to be mildly effective. On the plus side, it smelled amazing!2
This product smelled wonderful and left my legs smelling great for a long time. It wasn't really creamy and it wasn't a smooth shave at all. I wouldn't recommend this for shaving.2
I couldn't put my finger on the scent of this product in the warm shower until a carton of milk recently went bad in my fridge. It also made my skin feel plastic-y. Did not feel moisturized afterwards.2
This didn't foam up at all as I am used to with shave gel, it was like putting lotion on in the shower?2
This shave cream was OK. It got the job done without any nicks or cuts but not any better than a drugstore brand. Didn't love the scent.2
I felt that this product was very hydrating and did not leave my skin dry. However, it was so wet/slick on my legs that it almost made it more difficult to shave. It also built up and coated my razor with the shave cream so I had to thoroughly rinse it out frequently.2
I've gotten a couple of whish products in my Birchboxes and honestly I'm not a fan. :/ The scents tend to be kind of nice but with an underlying weirdly moldy scent to me. As for this particular product, it worked okay as far as shaving goes but the texture was not to my liking. It left a slimy film on my skin and clogged up my razor a lot. It didn't leave my skin feeling any smoother or softer and it didn't get me a closer shave. My recommendation, just buy Pure Silk at WalMart, that stuff is dreamy and cheap and works wonders on my skin.2
