This decadent shave cream from gives you a mighty close shave without leaving legs devoid of moisture—and is made in the U.S. from eco-friendly ingredients. And, unlike its distant peers, this formula is designed not to foam up: instead, the rich lotion is chock full of organic and natural botanicals that soften skin. A moisturizing base of omega-rich squalene, organic shea butter, jojoba oil, and coconut oil protects against the redness and irritation associated with shaving, while organic green tea extracts infuse skin with antioxidants.
I thought that this was fine, though not anything that you can't get for a much lower price point.2
And while it smells really nice, and feels really nice I'm still pretty old school and not into the whole waxing thing so it'd be pretty costly for me to beat out the brand I currently use.2
I can't justify spending $20 on cream to shave my legs when I can buy it for $3 at the store. I also didn't think this was as effective as a shaving gel. I know this is organic, and that's definitely nice, but this product wasn't for me. The smell was nice though - Acai.2
Not sure how this is getting such great reviews. Product is pricey for what you get, and what you get is going be used up quickly!2
I didn't like this shaving cream at all. The smell was yucky. Not something I'd use. Also, it wasn't creamy at all. Left my skin feeling very smooth, which was a plus after shaving. But the smell was just horrible, like sour milk.2
Perhaps it was the way it was packaged for the sample, but it didn't foam well (so it's not particularly useful as shaving cream). Smells good, though...2
I usually use my body wash to shave anyways so I wasn't super excited that it was in my July box but I tried it anyways. Ew! The acai grapefruit smelled really weird to me and I agree with some others that it left my legs feeling sticky afterwards in the shower. When they were dry they were okay but overall it was more of a hassell. Will not be purchasing.2
I had the grapefruit version in my box...not one of my favorites. It had a really strange smell, which using it in the shower while trying to get clean.....not exactly refreshing. Personally, I can get shave cream that is equally as effective and smells much better in the store. Will not be purchasing.2
OK, let's get it out of the way. This is lotion. It disappears quickly into/onto your skin, making it difficult to know where you've shaved - big negative. Also, it sort of falls off the razor in clumps, which just seems like they'd be a pain to clean/rinse out of the shower quickly. Essentially, it's lotion, and if you want to shave with that, go for it, but not at this price point. Also, the grapefruit scent smelled vaguely like a depilatory product, making me triple check in the shower that it was just shave cream.2
I really wanted to like it. The product was soft and silky, but the pomegranate smell was awful. It just smelled like plastic to me.2
