This decadent shave cream from gives you a mighty close shave without leaving legs devoid of moisture—and is made in the U.S. from eco-friendly ingredients. And, unlike its distant peers, this formula is designed not to foam up: instead, the rich lotion is chock full of organic and natural botanicals that soften skin. A moisturizing base of omega-rich squalene, organic shea butter, jojoba oil, and coconut oil protects against the redness and irritation associated with shaving, while organic green tea extracts infuse skin with antioxidants.
I gave it two stars, one for the smell (loved the blueberry) and one because it helped me shave my legs (but so does a bar of soap). Other than that I was actually really surprised that it DRIED OUT MY SKIN (even though it claims it won't do that) and it left a weird film when I rinsed it off. I love natural organic products and am always looking for them but this one missed the mark, which is really unfortunate cause I really wanted to like it. Fix the drying out and the film issue with a new formulation and I'll try it again.2
I've used better shaving products. This is creamy sort of like EOS, but I really hated the blueberry smell! It didn't smell like blueberry to me. I ended up throwing the sample out before I used it up because of the smell.2
I was not a fan of this shaving cream! I found that it was difficult to shave because it was dry on my legs. Not moisturizing at all. I did not like the scent either2
I got this in my box and was bummed because I don't usually like shaving cream. This was even worse than your basic creams from walmart. It didn't lather well and made my skin feel weird after.2
I was excited to purchase this product, as I loved my blueberry-scented sample. I am a big fan of lavender-scented products, so I purchased that instead. While the texture is still great, the smell is awful. It does not smell like lavender, it smells like bug spray. Swing and a miss, Whish :(2
Firstly, I received the blueberry scented cream, and it was disgusting! Maybe it was just me but I didn't even want to try it after smelling it. I decided to deal with it and try it. The product didn't lather well and it was like it was barely there. My skin felt a little softer after but that's it. Would not buy full size.2
This cream smells heavenly. Unfortunately, that was the best thing about it. It did not do anything in terms of giving a closer shave, and I actually ended up with more nicks than I do with regular shaving cream. Too bad; I really wanted to like it, but it just didn't perform as I expected.2
I found this product to be sticky and filmy, with not much of a lather. It smelled delicious (the blueberry) but that's about where it ended!2
so I was excited to try this shave cream out, but it didn't do anything to help. I found that it washed off pretty quickly and I didn't notice my skin feeling softer. I liked the smell though.2
This cream feels and smells great, but honestly, I am never going to spend $20 on shaving cream. I didn't notice any improvement in shaving at all, and in fact, ended up with red bumps all along my bikini line.
The retro packaging is adorable, and it feels luxurious, but it didn't work very well for me. And again... twenty bucks?!!
That seems sort of crazy.
