This decadent shave cream from gives you a mighty close shave without leaving legs devoid of moisture—and is made in the U.S. from eco-friendly ingredients. And, unlike its distant peers, this formula is designed not to foam up: instead, the rich lotion is chock full of organic and natural botanicals that soften skin. A moisturizing base of omega-rich squalene, organic shea butter, jojoba oil, and coconut oil protects against the redness and irritation associated with shaving, while organic green tea extracts infuse skin with antioxidants.
The shave cream leaves a lot to be desired, you’re better off shaving with cheap conditioner. I think the product is overpriced for what you’re getting and doesn’t leave your skin feeling silky and smooth2
I received a sample of this in the acai grapefruit scent and wasn't impressed. It smelled vaguely alcoholic (I use other grapefruit-scented bath products, so I usually like that scent), but if thought the product itself would have some kind of lather or let me know when I'd dispensed the lotion. I felt like I wasted a lot of cream that way.2
I don't use shaving cream, I'm highly allergic to a lot of skin products. Thankfully this product did not give me any allergic reactions (yay!), however, if I'm going to buy something I've found I don't need I want to really love it. First, I did not like the scent of this. It was a little too artificially sweet. Second, the texture was nothing that great. Back when I suffered through shaving creams that made my legs break out in eczema I remember they all felt silky and foamy, but this product feels a little flat.2
Disappointed in this product, if only because I've never met a shaving cream that didn't lather to my satisfaction. (Seriously, the cream barely foamed.) As such, it was hard to tell whether this product makes any difference in my shave because it didn't lather and adhere to my skin. Also, the smell was off-putting. There were notes of grapefruit, as advertised, but also a slightly pungent after smell.2
I don't usually use shaving cream so I wouldn't normally buy this. However, I did try it and compared to other shaving creams that I've used before I found it not creamy enough (if that makes sense) for me! :)2
I'll admit it, I have thick leg hair. But I guess this means I consider myself to be a connoisseur of shaving products and you can trust me when I say that this just didn't do the job. Regular shaving cream in the grocery store typically works much better for me. I use a five bladded razor, so I really don't require too much from whatever lotion I am using, but this was just very thin and runny. I had to switch to use my shampoo because that was more hydrating than this, unfortunately.2
My first attempt to use this product was welcomed by an already opened tube. Could be poor packaging or just the luck of the draw but everything inside was dried out. I tried using water to bring it back to its original state but that's hard to do when you're not familiar with the product to begin with. I may give this another chance only if I were to come across it again as a free sample. Otherwise, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.2
I received the Acai Grapefruit scent, and the first time I used it I thought it smelled, literally, like vomit. So I didn't use it again for about 2 weeks because I thought maybe my hormones or something were playing tricks on me and I maybe it would smell better at a different time. Nope, it smelled the same when I used it last night, I just can't get past it. The consistency is not that great. I typically use hair conditioner as my shaving cream and that has always worked well for me, so I'm used to not using a lathering shave cream, but the consistency of this product is so thin.2
The smell isn't great at all and the cream doesn't go far at all. Also when shaving the cream clogs up the razor, not a fan at all.2
I wasn't too crazy about this product. When I shave my legs I like the cream to lather up, this one does not. It is too thin to really be nice on my skin. I won't be purchasing this, or even finishing off my sample.2
