This decadent shave cream from gives you a mighty close shave without leaving legs devoid of moisture—and is made in the U.S. from eco-friendly ingredients. And, unlike its distant peers, this formula is designed not to foam up: instead, the rich lotion is chock full of organic and natural botanicals that soften skin. A moisturizing base of omega-rich squalene, organic shea butter, jojoba oil, and coconut oil protects against the redness and irritation associated with shaving, while organic green tea extracts infuse skin with antioxidants.
I liked the testing the sample. However, I won't buy the product in the future because to me the difference between this product and regular shaving cream is not large enough to justify the price premium.2
This shaving cream had a great scent, but did not lather the way that I like my shave creams to. I found myself having to use a lot of it to get it to work. I did like the way it left my skin feeling afterwards though. While it was okay to use a few times, I probably wouldn't actually buy the product. I've used drug store shaving creams before that I have liked much better than this one.2
If you're the type that shaves while showering, the cream texture can be a bit awkward to use if your skin is already wet (it slides around). I found the cream just clogged up my razor as well, but the results were smooth (though a tad drying).
I guess I just would prefer something that lathers and is easily rinse-able.
Apparently this is supposed to smell like grapefruit? I thought it smelled awful. I also found the texture to be weirdly greasy and didn't leave me feeling clean.2
The products seemed nice on the hands but the moment I rubbed it on my legs is was a clear watery consistency. Not a fan. The fragrance was good but I prefer a stronger smell. Had to use the whole tube just to do my legs & underarms.2
The whish shave cream left my legs dry and my razor full of gunk. I did not experience any of the luxurious softness and moisture. The smell was great, though, that's the one part of the sample that I enjoyed2
I did not like the scent at all. I dont know if there are other scents but this one is bad2
I wasn't a huge fan of the smell. It worked alright, but not necessarily any better than regular shaving cream, or my usual go-to conditioner, to warrant the price.2
This shave cream smells nice and works like any other shave cream, but this alone is not enough to justify the price.2
Sampled this and wasn't to impressed. It's very thick and requires a lot of product to coat both legs, and even then it didn't seem to perform as well as my generic store brand shave gel. I guess if you're ingredient conscious this could be a good choice, but I won't be rushing to buy it.
Also: what's up with all the grapefruit-scented products in the boxes? Not a fan.
