This decadent shave cream from gives you a mighty close shave without leaving legs devoid of moisture—and is made in the U.S. from eco-friendly ingredients. And, unlike its distant peers, this formula is designed not to foam up: instead, the rich lotion is chock full of organic and natural botanicals that soften skin. A moisturizing base of omega-rich squalene, organic shea butter, jojoba oil, and coconut oil protects against the redness and irritation associated with shaving, while organic green tea extracts infuse skin with antioxidants.
Smells great, but it did not foam up or provide enough lubrication for shaving in my opinion. Cute packaging and brand appeal, also a generous sample size. Did not find it very effective. 2/102
I didn't see anything special about this shaving cream. It is nice though that it is more like a lotion then a cream.2
Using this shaving cream is marginally better than using no shaving cream. So it has that going for it. It's just so thin and not moisturizing.2
The sample I got was grapefruit, and wow, it really does smell amazing and juicy. That being said, I would never buy the product. For one, it's some pretty pricey shaving cream. For two, the cream clogged my razor up so badly that I had to throw that blade out, which was a major bummer.2
I did not particularly like the smell of my sample. Also, I did not like that it burned my skin while using it in the shower! OUCH!!2
I wanted to like this cream but I just didn't. I was sent the Grapefruit scent and it doesn't smell very good. I think I would have like any other scent better. It is a cream like texture that disappears on your skin like lotion. It makes it difficult to get a close shave without getting razor born. Not a good product for me.2
I didn't care for the grapefruit smell, if you can call it that. It didn't work that great either. I still had to use other products after the fact, and my skin didn't feel so great. Wouldn't recommend for someone who doesn't like to shave through a ton of cream to get the job done.2
I shave with a safety razor, so shave cream is more important to me than it used to be. Unfortunately this product is not something I'd use again. It didn't provide a good barrier between my skin and the razor, and my skin felt like all the moisture had been sucked out of it after using it. I used it on my legs and armpits, and it was the first time in ages I wound up with bumps on my armpits. The scent is great, though, and I imagine that it would work out just fine for a standard reusable razor that you find in drug stores and such.2
The smell was great, and it left my skin feeling soft. It didn't lather at all, and I had to use a lot of product to make up for that. I left a residue on my razor, and I still got razor bumps on my legs.2
I enjoy shaving with a thick cream like this one - it left my legs smooth and moisturized. However, the smell was extremely sour and strong - grapefruit fragrance gone wrong.2
