This decadent shave cream from gives you a mighty close shave without leaving legs devoid of moisture—and is made in the U.S. from eco-friendly ingredients. And, unlike its distant peers, this formula is designed not to foam up: instead, the rich lotion is chock full of organic and natural botanicals that soften skin. A moisturizing base of omega-rich squalene, organic shea butter, jojoba oil, and coconut oil protects against the redness and irritation associated with shaving, while organic green tea extracts infuse skin with antioxidants.
The scent was what I enjoyed most about this product. I'm accustomed to lathering shave creams. This did not lather which isn't necessarily a deal breaker for me. It did not make my skin feel moisturized after I rinsed it off. It left lots of floating "soap scum" type blobs in my bath water. No bueno.2
Originally I was very excited about this product. It was a new take on shaving cream, was supposed to leave legs feeling soft (unlike drying them out like regular shaving cream), and the scent smelled good out of the sample bottle.
After using the product, I was disappointed. The shaving cream acted the same as soap or conditioner does when shaving. The product dries out hands like crazy, which I was very disappointed about. Also, the scent did not smell that great once using it.
I was not impressed with this product, it did not do anything different than shaving cream I can buy at the store, and the smell was a bit gross to me.2
I was really hoping to like it. It did moisterize, but for some reason it did not smoothly glide... either I needed to use way more or I need a new razor! LOL My razor is new, if it was the lack of more cream then it's not worth the buy. I'd probably go through a full sized in a couple of weeks! Maybe next time...2
I might have been expecting a lot more from this shave cream, but I wasn't impressed at all. There's nothing that really makes it stand out from other creams, and it didn't really change my shave experience. Not for me.2
The first time I tried this on my underarms it gave me razor burn. I used it on my legs but didn't really like it because I couldn't see where I had shaved prior. I felt like I had to rinse the razor a lot to get the product and little hairs out.2
I honestly don't see what the fuss is about- why pay ten times more for something that does basically the same job as your run of the mill shaving cream? It left my legs a tad bit more moisturized, but I still needed lotion after my shower (and I don't have especially dry skin) so whats the point? I didn't notice any smell either. I'm all for lux products if they actually do something- but this seems to be just an expensive shave cream that doesn't do anything extra or even smell nice.2
I had this in Pom. I agree that this is not worth it. I did the ultimate test by using basic skintimate shaving gel you would buy from target on one leg and Whish on the other. I wanted to experience the difference. For shaving, Whish is clear so it is hard to know what area you've already shaven vs and actual shaving whip. Also, I figured Whish would feel more moisturizing, but both my legs felt the same after the shower with no lotion applied to either. Whish also has a sweet smell similar to strawberries and whip creme - a little too teeny bopper for me even though it does dissipate fast. Seeing the experience was the same with a few cons on whish's part including the price?... No way man. Cute packaging though.2
Since this product doesn't foam up, I felt like I had to use a lot of it in order to see it on my legs. I like to see my shave cream as that's how I make sure I don't miss any spots when I'm shaving. Also, my legs didn't seem anymore moisturized than when I use a drug store brand shave cream. Not something I'll be ordering.2
Although this product gave me one of the most closest shaves ever the smell was terrible. I'm not sure if my product was from a bath that was not good but it smelled like grapefruit and rotten eggs.2
