This decadent shave cream from gives you a mighty close shave without leaving legs devoid of moisture—and is made in the U.S. from eco-friendly ingredients. And, unlike its distant peers, this formula is designed not to foam up: instead, the rich lotion is chock full of organic and natural botanicals that soften skin. A moisturizing base of omega-rich squalene, organic shea butter, jojoba oil, and coconut oil protects against the redness and irritation associated with shaving, while organic green tea extracts infuse skin with antioxidants.
I don't usually use shave cream, so there's no way I'd pay $20 for it.
If I did use shave cream, I probably wouldn't either.
It smelled nice. It went on easily. However, I get the same result with my shaving cream from Wal-mart.2
This shave cream smells nice, but doesn't lather... I prefer a shave cream that lathers/foams.2
I liked the smell and it really does make your legs feel smooth. However, I feel like you have to use a lot to provide effective coverage. Otherwise I nicked myself a few times, while using my other shaving cream I rarely every do.2
I didn't really care for this product, probably because I am used to shaving cream being foamy. It did leave my legs feeling very smooth and moisturized.2
I really, really wanted to like this because it has a lot of ingredients I like like coconut oil, almond oil, and jojoba oil. I got a sample of the Acai Grapefruit in my box, and I'm glad I tried it before purchasing, as I was about to do based on the ingredients.
The biggest issue I had was that it left a strange reside on top of my bath water as I shaved (I only shave in the tub), which wouldn't have been so bad, but it also left bits of white residue on the bottom of my tub after the bath. I had to rinse the tub two different times to finally get it all out.
Aside from that, I really just felt like the the product was somewhat mediocre, at least for me. I didn't feel like my legs were moisturized and I actually ended up with more of the little red bumps than usual when I used this. I know my legs do get those no matter what even though I do not have otherwise sensitive skin, but this was one of the worst cases. I did really like the fragrance and I liked the idea of the product (a shaving lotion, instead of foam), but it just did not work well for me.
I found the grapefruit scent to be very off-putting. The cream itself worked fine but the sample packaging made it very difficult to use in the act of shaving.2
I loved the grapefruit smell. Other wise I don't think it was any better than any other shave cream.2
I loved the smell, but the product itself wasn't thick enough for my taste. Adorable packaging too. Just wish it was thicker. It didn't feel like I could get enough on and keep it on long enough.2
I was exited to try this shaving cream, but it fell a little short of my expectations. Although the sample size was good, I didn't find that the product was think enough to stay on my legs, armpits or bikini line without washing away or running off pretty quickly. I did not care for the smell - I could tell that the product was supposed to smell like pomegranate, and it did, a bit. But there was also a chemically, or "off" scent that made the overall scent not that great. I'll keep using the thick stuff in a can for the time being.2
