This decadent shave cream from gives you a mighty close shave without leaving legs devoid of moisture—and is made in the U.S. from eco-friendly ingredients. And, unlike its distant peers, this formula is designed not to foam up: instead, the rich lotion is chock full of organic and natural botanicals that soften skin. A moisturizing base of omega-rich squalene, organic shea butter, jojoba oil, and coconut oil protects against the redness and irritation associated with shaving, while organic green tea extracts infuse skin with antioxidants.
I use another brand of shave cream so I was excited to see this in my box. It smells great but gunked up my razor. The other drugstore brand I use doesn't do that and it's cheaper.2
While I don't typically use shaving cream (I prefer razors with it built-in), I was unimpressed with the Whish version. It was pretty creamy right out of the tube, but turned into a runny mess when it encountered the slightest bit of water. I wasn't a huge fan of the scent, either.2
It smells good and feels good, but it's so thick that it clogged up my razor blades, forcing me to change out blades more frequently. If you use disposable razors and change them out often anyway, that might not be a problem for you.2
I usually use Trader Joe's shave lotion. It has a texture similar to watery conditioner. This stuff was too solid for my taste and I did NOT like the smell. I only used it once then tossed it.2
When I travel I typically use conditioner to shave my legs, so I was excited to try the sample. Definitely gave a close shave, but one of the times I used it, I felt like it left a residue on my legs afterwards. Additionally, it doesn't spread easily, just sort of stays in one place despite best efforts to spread it all over. At such a high cost, I'll stick to using conditioner when I travel, and Skintastic at home.2
Wasn't particularly impressed. Think I will just stick with soap and water.2
I received the blueberry scented sample of this product and hated it. The texture was fine and it worked pretty well as a shaving cream, but the smell was very sweet and artificial. I would have definitely preferred another scent.2
If you have really sensitive skin and have a hard time finding products for related issues, don't try this. The smell is amazing (I tried the Blueberry) but it dried my skin out to the point of no return. I will not be purchasing.2
I thought it was smooth and made razor glide easily, but not much differently than shaving with hair conditioner which is wnat I normaly use.2
This shaving cream was ok. It is more of a lotion as it doesnt foam. Although it gave a close shave in my underarms I couldn't get over the smell. It was not good.2
