This decadent shave cream from gives you a mighty close shave without leaving legs devoid of moisture—and is made in the U.S. from eco-friendly ingredients. And, unlike its distant peers, this formula is designed not to foam up: instead, the rich lotion is chock full of organic and natural botanicals that soften skin. A moisturizing base of omega-rich squalene, organic shea butter, jojoba oil, and coconut oil protects against the redness and irritation associated with shaving, while organic green tea extracts infuse skin with antioxidants.
This was really moisturizing and smelled really nice but I feel like it didn't give me as close of a shave as my usual shaving cream..2
I didn't love the scent I got (grapefruit acai) -- I usually love grapefruit scent, but this smelled weirdly like vomit. Maybe it was the acai? But the main problem is that this didn't feel like it made shaving smoother. I felt like it was making the razor drag more, and like it left my skin dry afterward. I'm a little bummed because I LOVE the Whish moisturizing gel so much and use it all summer. Hope they improve this one a bit.2
The shave cream went on smoothly, but left behind a residue that left my skin feeling like plastic. I had several razor lines/scratches, too - and when I use body wash I never get those. It's like the razor was unable to glide smoothly over the residue.2
Honestly, shave cream is shave cream, in my opinion and this one didn't do anything exciting to wow me or to make it worth the cost. It did smell nice but other than that. wasn't really impressed.2
i love the smell but i already have a shaving cream i am happy with. The texture is nice not as thick as i would have expected but overall great quality.2
This product was so-so. I wasn't thrilled with the dryness of my legs after using it. Very light scent which is nice.2
For shaving my legs, I did not find this product useful. I found it drying, but once I put on lotion post-shower, my legs were smoother than usual. I generally don't have a problems with dry skin/poor shaving experiences, so the benefits overall weren't great. I did find the product useful for shaving my bikini line; it substantially reduced irritation.
However, the scent of the acai/grapefruit version is horrible. It reminds me a little of vomit and kind of makes me gag when I use it.
It did make my legs feel smooth, however, it is pretty expensive and you have to use quite a bit to get good coverage since it doesn't lather up. I don't think it's worth the money.2
I really liked the scent and how my legs felt after using this but I was disappointed with how poorly it went on. I felt like I had to use a lot to get it to lather and be effective.2
I received the acai grapefruit Whish shaving cream and while I liked the texture fine, I hate the smell so much that I had to wash it off with a body wash after using. I'm not sure if something went wrong with it during shipping but it smelled like soured fruit.2
