This decadent shave cream from gives you a mighty close shave without leaving legs devoid of moisture—and is made in the U.S. from eco-friendly ingredients. And, unlike its distant peers, this formula is designed not to foam up: instead, the rich lotion is chock full of organic and natural botanicals that soften skin. A moisturizing base of omega-rich squalene, organic shea butter, jojoba oil, and coconut oil protects against the redness and irritation associated with shaving, while organic green tea extracts infuse skin with antioxidants.
My skin felt smoother and softer after use but my sample smelled faintly similar to vomit.2
this is the second sample I have received from this line. The first was a lotion that was ok. I did not like this product at all and felt like I was shaving with regular lotion. I prefer a shaving cream that foams. It was also somewhat greasy. I do not plan to purchase this product2
I do not like this product, at all to be honest. It has an awful odor, and the price is unreasonable for a shave cream. Would not recommend.2
I did not like this product at all. It gets all gooped up in my razor and the smell was horrific. It almost has a BO smell. Not impressed and I will stick to my $2 skintimate shave creams.2
The smell is great and the texture felt nice at first but as soon as it was rinsed off my skin did not feel as soft it felt like I had used a bar of soap. Also, it left a gross, chunky residue in the bath tub and clogged up the razor. Would definitely try a different brand.2
I was looking forward to trying this out as I had heard a lot about this beforehand. I was sadly disappointed as it was such a small amount and hardly covered my legs before i was out. It does not have a nice smell, though scent is really not a factor, but if it has a scent I would like it to at least be pleasant. Because it does not lather, it really did not stay on my skin very well. This wasn't a product that worked for me, and I will be sticking with my drug-store brand. But I do hope it can be a win for others.2
Not impressed. It feels and smells great going on, but whatever it does to my legs, it made them feel almost plasticky after I washed it off, and the razor got jumpy if there was any water that hit my legs when the product was on it - the shaving cream and water didn't mix well from what I experienced, and that's not exactly ideal when you're using the product in the shower... Too bad, I was really excited about this one.2
This smells alright but the part I didnt care for was that I had to use a lot to make it feel like a shaving cream. Otherwise my razor dragged on my skin. For the price I feel I would use way too much and go through it too quickly to make it worth it. I will stick to my $4 shave cream. :-(2
I did not like this product. I got this as an add on for signing up to Birchbox two months ago. I was upset when I saw that I got it in my recent box. I got the acai grapefruit scent both times. It smells so sickly sweet, and it reminds me of bile. I blame the fact that I'm so used to shaving cream or using conditioner to shave, but I had a hard time figuring out how much of this to use. My eyesight is pretty bad, so I had a hard time seeing what areas I had already shaved, but I have similar problems when using conditioner to shave. Overall I am not happy with this product.2
I don't normally use shaving cream so maybe I'm not the best reviewer for this product- but I didn't like it. It didn't seem to coat my skin enough to make it feel coated, protected and moisturized. The smell was nice but overall not a necessity in my opinion.2
