This decadent shave cream from gives you a mighty close shave without leaving legs devoid of moisture—and is made in the U.S. from eco-friendly ingredients. And, unlike its distant peers, this formula is designed not to foam up: instead, the rich lotion is chock full of organic and natural botanicals that soften skin. A moisturizing base of omega-rich squalene, organic shea butter, jojoba oil, and coconut oil protects against the redness and irritation associated with shaving, while organic green tea extracts infuse skin with antioxidants.
I enjoyed trying a different type of shaving cream--an alternative to my usual drugstore brand. It smells good, though maybe a little too strongly. It's a little weird in the shaving process because it's almost more like a lotion or conditioner than a shaving cream (it doesn't foam up like most shaving creams). Still, felt more moisturizing than my drug store brand and a different smell/texture was interesting. I'll be happy to have this when I'm traveling but it's not worth $20 for a small can of it.3
I have previously used Whish products and really enjoy them. My only hesitation in purchasing these products on a regular basis is the price - $20 is a little pricey for shave cream, but Whish makes an excellent product - great scents, moisturizing.5
I tried this sample in Blueberry, and it smelled like a kids blueberry body wash, but sour. I used it on my legs and I felt that it left my skin kind of dry. It didn't get creamy at all, it actually kind of disappears on your skin. I wish it had been more moisturizing, it should've been since it has shea, but it left me feeling dry, like all my skin's oils had been totally stripped, and the smell is still really strong (even on my hands from applying it) about 8 hours later.2
I received the Whish Shave Crave Shaving Cream in my April Birchbox. I would not recommend this product as I did not like the smell nor the sticky feeling it left on my skin after.3
I loved the fruit smell of this shave gel. One large drawback is that this product doesn't lather, making it easy to overuse. The application is similar to using (hair) conditioner to shave. Using this product, I still got a close shave and enjoyed the smell.4
My wish was not granted when I received this shaving cream. Shaving cream did not emulsify well and the scent was rather synthetic and artificially sweet. I have found better drugstore brands for half the price. Save your money and invest in Eos brand,2
This product smells terrific, however I didn't like the texture of the cream. It was not creamy and left my legs feeling very dry.3
I thought the sample was extremely small. So small I couldn't possibly use it on any part of my body except my legs. Didn't work any better than regular shaving cream which is much cheaper.2
This is the second time I've gotten this in my Birchbox. I wasn't impressed the first time and I'm not impressed this time. I got blueberry this time, which smelled very fake and overpowering. As a shave cream, it is not as effective as the brand that I get from the drugstore. Whish shave cream is not as moisturizing and it clogs up my razor.2
I love whish products- but what can you really do w/shaving cream. I liked that it wasn't so foamy, got a good shave, blueberry is maybe my least fav of their flavors but not unpleasant. Will use but not going to spend that much for SC4
