From no-calorie cupcakes to pinch-free stilettos, we admit that we’re prone to wishful thinking. Another item near the top of our if-only-it-were-real list: a truly non-greasy body lotion. Much to our surprise, this decadent organic body butter fits the bill. It contains a trio of antioxidant-rich moisturizers that nourishes skin and wards off sun damage.
This smelled horrible. I used it once and I had to try to cover my skin with another lotion just to get rid of the smell. If you like nutty smells like shea butter, you'd enjoy this. I did not. I prefer sweet smells. Also, I have very dry skin and this did nothing for moisturizing it. I have always thought body butters are supposed to be super hydrating. Fail.1
I am not a fan of this brands products, everything feels oily and does not absorb very well. The shaving cream had too much of a wax base and clogged my razor. The lotion doesn't feel like it is moisturizing my skin, rather it feel like it is just putting a layer of lotion on top of my skin. I wouldn't recommend it you are looking for deep moisturizing.1
This lotion smells great but left my skin feeling very greasy.1
I got blueberry and I really don't like the smell.1
I have had a few samples from Birchbox and each one I have tried smell so bad that I just throw them out and don't use them. I could not care if they work well because I can't get past how bad they smell. It is revolting!!!!1
This lotion is very scented and very lotiony. I'm not a fan of lotion in general, but this one is way too much!1
Overall I thought the lotion part was fine. Was is revolutionary or interesting? No. But the huge deal breaker was the blueberry scent of mine. HORRIBLE. Couldn't handle it, and to be honest, it didn't even smell like real blueberries.1
I got the blueberry one in my birch box. I really don't like the smell. I will not be using this product.1
I love the shaving cream from Whish, but I do not recommend the lotion. It goes on greasy and takes a fair amount of vigorously rubbing it in to go away and the scents are overpowering. I was unlucky enough to get blueberry, and almost immediately ended up washing the lotion OFF my legs and hands, only to find that the lingering scent gave me a headache and made me smell like a chemically charged bakery.1
The scent is much too strong , even if everything else one wears is unscented. I'm not scent sensitive, but I got a headache within minutes of using this product. On the plus side, this softened my hands even after washing.1
