From no-calorie cupcakes to pinch-free stilettos, we admit that we’re prone to wishful thinking. Another item near the top of our if-only-it-were-real list: a truly non-greasy body lotion. Much to our surprise, this decadent organic body butter fits the bill. It contains a trio of antioxidant-rich moisturizers that nourishes skin and wards off sun damage.
I was disappointed all around with this sample. I thought the packaging and the brand description was cute and was excited to try a new lotion. This however left more to be desired on all fronts. First, even though the bottle of the sample seemed to be a pretty good size it wad definitely way underfilled. I had a hard time getting any lotion out without shaking it and squeezing the whole tube. I hardly had enough to cover my legs without completely running out. It ended up not even mattering because I didn't enjoy the product anyways. It had an unpleasant smell.. kind of like baby powder and soap, but in an acrid and not fresh way. The product was pretty rough on my skin and didn't leave it feeling moisturized or smooth. A big disappointment all around!1
I wanted to like this but I could not get over the scent. It was so overpowering! I couldn't really place it at first but then I realized it reminded me of a men's shaving cream. It smelled like there was an attempt to 'feminize' it but I could not get over that initial scent. Needless to say, this is not one of my favorites.1
I did not like this lotion. The scent was overpowering.1
Honestly, I didn't care for this product. The body butter made me feel really oily.1
This product left my skin soft and smooth and had a fresh lavender scent.1
This lotion was so disappointing. It didn't seem like it was doing any moisturizing. My skin still felt dry after each use. There was something off about the texture too. The lotion didn't seem to coat the skin well enough. It just soaked in immediately and never really had an affect.1
This body butter was thick and whipped just like it states. It would have been nice but I couldn't stand the smell... and I didn't notice it keeping my hands are moisturized as I would like, but I have pretty dry skin.1
I doubt that there is any regulation as to the term "body butter" but I tend to expect something a lot thicker and more moisturizing. This lotion is runny and hardly effective at all. I won't be purchasing it.1
I found the smell of this product to be overwhelming and unpleasant. I really prefer unscented lotions, though, so this could be totally a personal problem!1
When a product is called a "butter" you expect a very thick, creamy substance. This product is the consistency of a lotion. Runny, thin, etc. If you have dry skin this product is not at all helpful. I had to apply several times a day to see any benefit.1
