While it’s not our favorite activity, for most of us, shaving is a weekly, if not daily, part of our shower-time routine. Saving us from this bothersome ritual, Whish’s Shave Savour Hair Inhibiting Gel slows hair growth. Made with all-natural and organic ingredients, not only does the Gel slow hair growth, it absorbs quickly to hydrate dry skin.
I loved the smell of it. It went on smoothly and it made shaving so much easier. I wouldn't go back to anything else!5
I love Whish shave creams but this seemed very bland as a product. The texture was strange, the scent wasn't very nice and I didn't think it did much of anything.3
Not enough product to use over several shave sessions....but over all I feel like it did hydrate my skin!3
I didn't love the scent but tried it out anyway. I noticed no difference in hair growth at all. Oh well!2
I've been really interested in trying these products. Unfortunatly, I have Celiac disease and most of this line is not gluten free. I feel like this is a brand I might enjoy, it's unfortunate that they aren't gluten friendly.2
This is my second Whish product through Birthbox and I can see what everyone is raving about. I feel like I have a closer shave every time I use these products, and my legs feel so smooth.4
The Pros: The moisturizing gels smells great, is easy to massage in, and definitely moisturizes skin. 2 stars for that!
The Cons: I did an experiment to see just how much the gel inhibited my normal leg hair growth. On my freshly shaved legs I applied Whish to one, and my regular drugstore Vit E lotion to the other. For 10 days I followed that moisture regiment 2x per day (after morning shower and before bed). At the end, the Whish leg hairs were noticeably longer. Even my boyfriend who thought this experiment was a little silly at the start was surprised by the hair length difference. Maybe the Whish inhibits hair growth compared to no or exceptionally poor quality lotion, but my $4 lotion is the winner in this match-up.
I tried this after shaving and really liked the way it made my skin feel. It's not something I would have originally purchased for myself so I'm glad I got the chance to try it. I'm not sure it's really doing anything...wish I had a little more facts on the science of it all. But in general, I liked the product for the scent and how my skin felt soft and moisturized.4
Felt a little sticky going on. I would love to give this a shot to see if it actually works to inhibit hair growth, but with a small sample, I can't know for sure if it's effective. Up in the air about buying a full size or not.3
This I was hoping I would like, as I am a fan of whish products, there just wasn't enough to use long enough to make a really noticeable difference. Maybe good stuff, just not a good sample idea.3
