Lulu Organics®’s organic hair powder is the hip younger sister of mainstream dry shampoos: she’s eco-conscious, health-savvy, and has vague plans of packing her bags and moving to Portland. Analogies aside, this winning natural formula revives second day locks by absorbing volume-zapping oil. It has a lovely jasmine scent and doesn't leaves behind a chalky white residue.
More often than not, dry shampoos smell ultra-concentrated and fake. The Lulu Organics Jasmine Hair Powder is refreshing and natural. The powder works to add long-lasting volume, which is unusual for a dry shampoo that is not an aerosol spray.5
This product is amazing. I have tried a number of dry shampoos and Lulu's is by far the best. The scent is so clean and fresh. The price is rather high, but you don't need to use a lot to get terrific results.5
I used this looking forward to the scent, since the hair powder I've been using (Klorane) is just kind of blandly powdery. The scent from this is pretty mild and fades immediately, and the method for application leaves much to be desired. I much prefer the squeezable plastic bottle on the non-aerosol Klorane hair powder. I also find that there's more oil buildup the next day with this one. Won't be repurchasing.4
This product has a nice smell and keeps hair fresh. It doesn't leave a white residue like some other dry shampoos. I will definitely purchase again.4
This is a great product!! I love that I can use this at the end of my gym session and my hair is damp but I don't want to shower at the gym. I use the powder (which smells nice as well) and throw my hair up and still feel like I can run to the market, etc after. I will def purchase again!4
i love the powder form & the scent. the only negative (and this is totally my fault) is that it has a lid similar to a basic salt & peper shaker. If you leave it open on the wrong setting, you get WAY too much product (can cause spills if you are traveling). Other than that, this is one of my go-to's. I always have a bottle being used and one for backup.4
I think that this works really well, but one of the reasons I sprang for this was the promise of the jasmine scent - I couldn't get any notes of jasmine from this. I think for an organic, completely natural product, this worked great. I'd tried a few natural dry shampoos that always looked like I'd dumped cornstarch on my head. This blended into my dark (almost black) hair and made my hair feel fresh.4
I love the soft scent of this product and I like the minimal and recyclable packaging but seriously. Someone HAS to come up with a less messy way to apply powder to the hair! I love the ease of sprays but prefer the eco-friendliness of this packaging. For now, I'm just stuck applying it over the bathtub...4
This is a well blended powder that really can tide a girl over until she can wash her hair. Pretty subtle in the scent department. I like that it's not a spray-on product.4
I don't like to wash my hair frequently so I use dry shampoo in between washes. A lot of the other products (I won't mention any names) leave white residue in my hair even with constant brushing. With this product i just tap a little onto a greasy area and brush my finger through it and there is no residue. It has a really soft floral smell that I like too, which is definitely a step up from its competitors who all smell like a mixture of chemicals and cleaners. My only complaint is that for fifteen dollars I think there should be a little more.4
