When it comes to hairstylists, Oribe is something of a bad boy. The tattooed star is known for working with the likes of Jennifer Lopez and plenty of other pop icons. That’s why you should take his word for it that this cream is the difference between the usual out of control mop and a polished coif. The multitasking formula acts as both a leave-in conditioner and a styling cream, helping to calm and smooth coarse, thick, or fuller hair.
I have been highlighting, coloring, perming and chemically straightening my hair for 15 years now, along with the daily curling and straightening and this product truly changed my hair. I have thin hair and this helps my hair get a shiny healthy smooth look! I pair it with the Oribe hair oil and those two together is the prefect pair!5
Living in a harsh midwestern climate, my hair can look like a bird's nest at the end of the day. Oribe's Supershine Moisturizing Cream adds a great bit of moisture and shine to both tame and help style.
I have very fine hair, so have to be careful to only use a pea-sized amount at a time. If you're like me, a bottle of this can last well beyond the season. Which is good, since Oribe is substantially more expensive than similar products. That's really the only downside that I've found.
When I was still living at my parents the water would make my hair so dry but, when my sister brought this home from the salon it was like night and day. It made me hair so much healther and softer. Its so moisturizing my mom tought it was hand cream until we informed her that it was for your hair. You only need a little bit at a time. I only used it every other day. Just wished it was cheaper.4
This product definitely made my hair soft, but I was hoping it would also help with frizz. My hair is extremely thick and wavy, so I was hoping this would help smooth it out. No such luck for my unruly hair.4
I absolutely LOVE all things Oribe, but this particular line for them is truly amazing. I add this to my hair as soon as I take it out of my micro-hair towel and it makes my hair so soft, gives a nice curl shape, makes my hair shiny and smells fantastic. It's expensive, but it has become a staple produt in my hair routine.5
Love the smell the gloss and the fact that you literally need the smallest amount for perfect results. You can use it for touch ups also without feeling greasy or weighed down.5
I originally was introduced to this through my stylist and I love the way it makes my hair super soft but not weight it down or make it fuzzy. It smells great (if you like the Oribe smell) and a little goes a LONG way. Definitely pricey for product but considering it's all you really need to apply between showering and styling with heat tools it's worth it.5
I really liked this product! I have fine curly hair.. but a lot of it! I'm also in the process of growing out a pixie cut so always on the hunt for product to help manage the awkward stages. My only negative is that it is more than I would spend on a daily hair care product.4
I have pretty thick, wavy hair. Up until this product I was in love with Lush's R&B. This product makes my hair more wavy, more subtle and doesn't weight it down. Because I have thick hair I tend to use 2 quarter sized dollops but I probably could use less and achieve the same result. I use it and scrunch my hair and for the first time in years people have commented on my curls! YAY. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Very spendy but definitely worth it.5
As a curly-girl, I am always in search of frizz-tamers to apply to dry hair. This Oribe cream not only smells amazing, but seriously does the trick. It's a shame it's so expensive but it's a real treat. Would recommend.5
