When we first started painting our nails, we relied on bottles of acetone to whisk away old polish. Nowadays, even the thought of inhaling smelly fumes is enough to give us a headache. That’s why we’re hooked on these biodegradable pads. Instead of chemicals, they’re soaked with a sweet-smelling citrus solution that clears away old polish and leaves our nails moisturized and conditioned.
I don't paint my nails, so I can't get excited about it1
Two wipes barely covered a foot and a half of removal. Full disclosure: I had painted over my nails once. I was really disappointed it couldn't remove two coats. It was harder work than using cotton balls and regular remover.1
I don't know why but this product didn't work for me at all. I had to scrub my nails with this and it still didn't come off. Maybe it just didn't work with the type of nail polish I had on but yeah I did not think this product was effective.1
I did not care for this product at all. It was not effective in removing my nail polish. I was hoping it would smell better too. Not the case!1
Not that I expect nail polish remover to smell good, but this was revolting. Like rotten fruit. It didn't even take off all of my manicure, and I had a creme polish on, no glitter or shimmer or anything. I've had better results from dollar store non-acetone remover pads.1
I am quite disappointed in these. It took 2 pouches to take polish off. And it left my fingers and nails so greasy!1
Would not even take polish off one nail without scrubbing and scrubbing, much less 10. And I wasn't wearing topcoat, so it shouldn't have been too challenging.
One star for having a pleasant orange fragrance and being acetone-free and bio-degradable.
I was so disappointed to find, that I literally needed to open a new package for each fingernail! Each application is a small square saturated in nail polish remover…the one star was only because it has a nicer smell than normal nail polish removed. If there was a towelette size wipe instead of a small square it would be great. I thought these would be good for travel, but I may as well carry a small bottle of remover becuase I need to carry at least 5 of them to get my polish off…..also, the color smeared all over my fingers1
I've never tried a non-acetone polish remover that works well, and this product is no exception. The fact is that acetone removes polish better than any other substance. I don't change my polish enough to where my nails suffer from their occasional exposure to acetone. When I'm looking to remove polish I just want something that does the job quickly and effectively. These wipes take too much scrubbing and at the end, you're still left with some polish.1
These would be great to have on hand for traveling but not so effective for home use. It took multiple pads to get polish off.1
