When we first started painting our nails, we relied on bottles of acetone to whisk away old polish. Nowadays, even the thought of inhaling smelly fumes is enough to give us a headache. That’s why we’re hooked on these biodegradable pads. Instead of chemicals, they’re soaked with a sweet-smelling citrus solution that clears away old polish and leaves our nails moisturized and conditioned.
I loved the smell of it but you definitely need more than one to clean all ten fingers because the pad started to fall apart before you finished the fingers3
I'm a manicure junkie and I almost always get gel manicures. I wasn't very surprised that this didn't work. I'm sure it's a great product for regular nail polish but I just don't have much use for it.3
I received these as a sample in my Birchbox. They worked ok, I had to use them on my nails several times I only wear 1 layer of polish.3
Although the wipe took off nail polish really well, it was not quite large enough. I had barely wiped the polish off of one hand before the wipe was saturated with color. It would definitely be a better product if it was a bit larger!3
If you are never home and always on the run, this is pretty great. Used it in the car while my husband was driving, and worked really well.3
I really liked how it didn't smell like normal nail polish but I had to use two packets to get the nail polish off all 10 nails. I would of liked it a lot more if one packet would of worked for all my nails.3
I paint my nails a lot. Nail polish was one of the first things that launched me into my addiction for all things beauty. At first, I was dubious about the claims that one of these little packets could remove polish from all ten fingers.
And really, it did a little better than I was expecting. As far as non-acetone removers go, this is one of the better ones. It smells decent, but there is still that lingering chemical smell that kind of infects the orange. Better than acetone, but still not quite there for me. And I had to use both of the samples provided to remove the polish from my fingers, event though I had decent chip damage, because it was a dark green polish. That and non-acetone just doesn't work fast enough. It takes longer, leaves more residue, and is usually more expensive.
This isn't bad if you're completely against acetone, but I'm sticking with my nourishing acetone with glycerin for now.
This product works so well. The polish is removed from my nails almost instantly, much faster than the remover that I usually use. Plus, it doesn't have that horrible nail polish remover smell. The only thing I don't like about it is the texture of the product. It is a very uncomfortable feeling on my nails.3
These things smell really good. It takes off nail polish just like any other remover except those watered down cheaper ones. It did take all the polish off both my hands though.3
I think this is the greatest idea ever, as Im always running out the door and wishing I'd taken the time to remove my chipped polish. However, I've found that it takes multiple clothes to remove one polish job (where as I would typically hope one cloth would remove at least one hand's worth). Cool that they smell nice but I wish they were more effective.3
