When we first started painting our nails, we relied on bottles of acetone to whisk away old polish. Nowadays, even the thought of inhaling smelly fumes is enough to give us a headache. That’s why we’re hooked on these biodegradable pads. Instead of chemicals, they’re soaked with a sweet-smelling citrus solution that clears away old polish and leaves our nails moisturized and conditioned.
I havent decided if I like this product or not. I only got one packet of the polish remover, and it wasnt enough to take off all of my nail polish. I had to finish up with some remover I already had. From what I saw, it works well and the smell isnt over powering, which is a plus.3
I really like the scent of these. I thought for sure that the telltale polish-remover smell would still be there, just with some orangey notes on top to mask it, but it really smelled good! The only complaint I have is that it looks like most other folks who got my box got two of these pads, and I only received one. I could have really used two, because I had a lot of trouble getting my polish off with just the one. I had to work at it a lot more than with traditional polish remover. But I think it's worth it for the great smell! They're a little pricey, at 50c a pad (so, about three pads = a whole bottle of traditional nail polish remover, pricewise), so I don't know if I will purchase a box or not. I'm still on the fence, though I do like the product. I just don't know if I like it enough to spend that much, especially when it is more difficult to get off polish. I love that it's natural, though!3
Love the smell and how it leaves my nails. But... the sample was two small! I barely got the polish off of one hand!3
First, I like the idea of one sheet removing all ten nail polish. Second, it made my nails moisturized and conditioned.3
I love that the smell isn't hard chemical-y, but this nail polish remover doesn't work at all on glitter, which is disappointing, since I often use glitter polishes.3
I never thought of getting citrus scented polish remover (you can still smell the remover scent), but this polish towelette is a very convenient way to travel.3
While I don't ever think to pack nail polish remover, I've found myself needing it while traveling on more than one occasion. This seems like the perfect solution.3
For the product costing only ten dollars for twenty of these wipes I think they could have put more than one in there. It's a good idea for traveling maybe but I probably wouldn't purchase for everyday use.3
If you're wearing an intense color (like a red) or a lot of layers or glitter, they're kind of small. If I'm at home, I prefer to use regular old remover and cotton balls. But I love the individual packaging for travel.4
I really enjoyed this sample. The wipe took off all the nail polish with one wipe. It had a pleasant smell, and it didn't dry out my finger tips.4
