When we first started painting our nails, we relied on bottles of acetone to whisk away old polish. Nowadays, even the thought of inhaling smelly fumes is enough to give us a headache. That’s why we’re hooked on these biodegradable pads. Instead of chemicals, they’re soaked with a sweet-smelling citrus solution that clears away old polish and leaves our nails moisturized and conditioned.
These were pretty good! I liked the smell and found my nails less dry than when I use other types of nail polish. (Though, admittedly, it did take me a little more time to get all the polish off.)4
I received a sample of this a couple months ago and really liked it. I like that it is made from natural ingredients and that it doesn't use acetone. It works really well at removing even stubborn polish, though I always use a base coat so that is a factor. My only complaint about it is the residue. I feel the need to wash my hands multiple times after using this product. The smell is also about as strong as acetone but more pleasant.4
These would be great to travel with. I had trouble with red polish but that usually takes several cotton balls anyway.4
This product is acetone-free and feels like it is healthy for your nails. It really gets all the nail polish off and I liked using it better than what I typically use.4
A nice change to removing nail polish, didn't smell like straight acetone and smelled very good removed the nail polish very well4
I ended up taking this product with me while traveling for Christmas since my nail polish was bound to chip while I was gone. I was very surprised by the non-offensive scent of the pad. It was a tad oily feeling, but it left my fingernails and hands hydrated afterwards -- not dried out like normal polish removers. While it doesn't work as quickly as a regular acetone nail polish remover, it's a great alternative if you're traveling, have limited space or are sensitive to strong chemical smells.4
Don't get me wrong these are great, especially if you are on the go and need a quick clean nail. The only issue is that they are not as strong as other removers I have used in the past. It takes a little more work to get the polish off. I love the conditioning for the cuticles. My hands don't feel as dry as they do with other removers. I would definitely purchase.4
i recently threw this in my carryon for a weekend trip for a friend's wedding. i mostly wanted it so i could get a "clean surface" to do my nails after showering and moisturizing. i like to do a quick swipe of my nails after putting on lotion to make sure there's no lotion under my nailpolish. i used this on my fingers and toes and then also to clean up some nails i'd messed up. i think there was more than enough product for just 10 nails. love the smell. no weird dry feeling. would definitely recommend!4
I wasn't sure what to expect with the product, but grabbed the samples when I left for Christmas vacation. They traveled well, and when it came time for me to take off my chipping nailpolish, it came off smoothly and smelled great! I held the cloth on each nail for a few seconds before polishing off, and I was able to use one cloth for all 10 fingers. It was nice to have something on the go, and it smelled a lot better than regular nail polish remover.4
The remover pads worked a little better than I expected. I usually use walgreens or cutex brand polish remover and the remover pads were easier to use and smelled much better than even the walgreens scented removers!4
