When we first started painting our nails, we relied on bottles of acetone to whisk away old polish. Nowadays, even the thought of inhaling smelly fumes is enough to give us a headache. That’s why we’re hooked on these biodegradable pads. Instead of chemicals, they’re soaked with a sweet-smelling citrus solution that clears away old polish and leaves our nails moisturized and conditioned.
I was able to remove a full set of manicured nails with one packet which was nice! I didn't expect to be able to do that when I opened the packet. Since it is alcohol free, I wasn't used to the texture/residue of the nail polish remover. It's a bit oily, but it doesn't stay too long.4
Not only do these pads wipe away already chipping nail polish, but they smell fresh and hydrate my nail beds, instead of an acetone-based remover. How can one ever go back!?4
I've never used nail polish remover wipes before and I really liked these. They took the color right off, didn't irritate my skin, and actually smelled tolerable unlike most nail polishes.4
I really like the individual packets of nail polish removal but they can be too expensive. It's hard to justify spending so much when you can get a bottle and some cotton balls. They are great for travel or to keep in your purse though. Smell was good. You did have to rub a bit to get all the polish off, but that seems typical. Would definitely consider buying through birchbox when you decide to splurge and use your rewards $$$.4
I find that I have similar products at a lower cost that seem to do the same thing, if not better.4
I think these are awesome, but If I'm doing my nails, I'll just use a bottle of remover at home. it does the job fine.4
I loved the idea of travel nail polish remover pads, but I didn't think that they were very effective at all!4
I'll be honest, I didn't think these wipes would be effective. I was totally wrong. They were given a tough task in removing my nail polish, which included roughly 4 coats, including a glittery polish (you know how hard those can be to remove). I was able to do all of my toenails with one wipe, though it was looking a little ragged by the end. If you're looking for a highly portable way to use an acetone free remover, these would be worth your money.4
but I had to use two pads so get all the polish off. I think they would be good to have for travel but I don't know that I would buy them for day-to-day use.4
The pad worked pretty well to remove nail polish, but my thick dark Polish took two pads to fully remove. I would definitely use these, but probably only for travel when it doesn't make sense to bring a bottle of nail polish remover with me4
