When we first started painting our nails, we relied on bottles of acetone to whisk away old polish. Nowadays, even the thought of inhaling smelly fumes is enough to give us a headache. That’s why we’re hooked on these biodegradable pads. Instead of chemicals, they’re soaked with a sweet-smelling citrus solution that clears away old polish and leaves our nails moisturized and conditioned.
I love the smell of these wipes, but with the way I do my polish these wipes only last 4-5 nails instead of the 10 they claim. I do like to keep these in my purse for emergencies though.3
I've never used nail polish remover wipes before and I really liked these. They took the color right off, didn't irritate my skin, and actually smelled tolerable unlike most nail polishes.4
I really like the individual packets of nail polish removal but they can be too expensive. It's hard to justify spending so much when you can get a bottle and some cotton balls. They are great for travel or to keep in your purse though. Smell was good. You did have to rub a bit to get all the polish off, but that seems typical. Would definitely consider buying through birchbox when you decide to splurge and use your rewards $$$.4
I find that I have similar products at a lower cost that seem to do the same thing, if not better.4
I think these are awesome, but If I'm doing my nails, I'll just use a bottle of remover at home. it does the job fine.4
A friend gifted me some of these for Christmas. I am a huge experimenter with my nails, so I go through remover like crazy. Now these are a little expensive so I don't use them everytime I do my nails (3 times a week) I do use them when I have a glitter or dark colored difficult to remove polish on. I feel that they really get my nails clean better than typical polish remover and cotton balls. I purchased two packs with my bonus points so I get to feel like they were free!5
This doesn't seem to work as effectively as normal polish remover. You really have to scrub and soak3
Product works well and smells nice! I would buy this product if I wore nail polish more often.5
This remover had a pleasant smell. The pad was not runny with liquid, which I have had problems with in the past. I did have to use two pads to completely remove the polish from all of my nails when the product summary only said I would need one. Fortunately, my box came with two sample pads.3
These nail polish wipes are convenient, but they aren't very effective. Using a cotton ball and a bottle of nail polish remover is easier, cheaper, and creates less waste (because the wipes are individually packaged).2
