When we first started painting our nails, we relied on bottles of acetone to whisk away old polish. Nowadays, even the thought of inhaling smelly fumes is enough to give us a headache. That’s why we’re hooked on these biodegradable pads. Instead of chemicals, they’re soaked with a sweet-smelling citrus solution that clears away old polish and leaves our nails moisturized and conditioned.
This product was very cool. I loved that the pads not only took the polish off but they also conditioned my nails at the same time. The only thing that i didn't like about this product was the price :(5
These little nail polish remover wipes are handy to have in a pinch and they smell pretty good4
I was thrilled to receive this sample in my box because I change my nail polish frequently, and I thought this would be perfect to change my nail polish on trips away from home. Although I loved the smell and convenience, it was difficult to take off the polish from all ten fingers with just one pad. I tried it on a darker colored polish, so it might be more appropriate for light colors.3
This product smells divine and works great. Seems to leave my hands softer after using.5
This is a great product but I currently use one that I like that is less expensive. If the price was comparable and it was something I could get locally I would think about them.3
I love LA Fresh products - natural ingredients and effective at what they're supposed to do. I use their face cleansing cloths. These worked well for polish and are great to keep in your travel bag.4
The product smells great, but I don't think it was effective enough for the price, at least not for how often I do my own nails. One sheet did get all 10 nails done, but it was time consuming.3
These are really great for travel or just to throw in your purse. They smell really nice too, but I think drugstore nail polish remover is cheaper and works just as well.2
This wipes are great, they take the polish off quickly.5
I just recently started painting my nails - they've historically been weak and bendy but since I turned 30 my body must be making little changes because they're rigid enough to handle polish without bending and cracking it off after a day. So my polish was nearing the end of its wear when I got my November birchbox. I whipped out the polish remover swabs and got to work removing the color.
The product smells DIVINE - I felt like I was being fooled. Nothing that smells so good could possibly remove nail polish effectively. But it worked, really well. Normally I use a cotton ball with stinky polish remover, but not only did these swabs work better in general, it was easier to bend the sheet into tougher-to-reach crevasses between nail and finger, my nails didn't look dry and beat-up after the polish came off, and the saturated sheet didn't come apart when up against sticky polish, the way a cotton ball tends to. Whew, sorry, that was a long sentence.
Now that I'm wearing nail polish frequently, I'll need to remove it frequently too, and this product is great for frequent use without having to worry about damaging the nail. Plus it smells really good.
