When we first started painting our nails, we relied on bottles of acetone to whisk away old polish. Nowadays, even the thought of inhaling smelly fumes is enough to give us a headache. That’s why we’re hooked on these biodegradable pads. Instead of chemicals, they’re soaked with a sweet-smelling citrus solution that clears away old polish and leaves our nails moisturized and conditioned.
I travel for work a fair amount, and sometimes getting a manicure before a business meeting is difficult. Unless you're 14 years old, chipped nail polish is embarrassing. I threw a handful of wipes in my travel bag and a few in my purse for emergencies. I had to use two wipes to take off bright red polish, but it's worth it. The wipes don't have a horrible chemical smell, and they don't leave fingers and nails dried out.4
The smell is what makes this product sing. So lovely. The size threw me off at first, but it is possible to clean all your nails with one towel (just use a spot the size of your nail, per nail, to clean). Great for travel, but I find myself using it as my go-to around the house for the ease and smell!5
These things are awesome. I have a habit of picking off my nail polish if I get one chip. So it's great to have these at work and in my purse. They smell good so no one around you will complain or even notice what you're doing!5
I generally need to use 2-3 envelopes per hand. I'd recommend spending a little more for the Deborah Lippman Stripper to Go!2
I used these on a set of glitter nails that I did for my daughter. Took off all the glitter without having to scrub or pick at the glitter like I normally do! I would definitely recommend it to others.4
These work great and are easy to use. Running late and have chipped polish all you have to do is pull one out of your purse. Great product.5
It didn't feel like the pad was going to be enough, but then again I wasn't wearing glitter or anything like that. It was all right, but it smelled good, so I guess that's good.4
When I tried these I was wearing gold polish-- not glitter, but metallic. Maybe this is why one pad wasn't enough to get the job done, but as soon as I opened the pad I was surprised that it wasn't more saturated. One pad was only enough for 1 hand, and I had to work hard at it. I was tempted to use a third pad to remove the polish on all 10 fingers. On the positive side, the product smells great and my nails and cuticles felt conditioned after use.3
This smelled amazing! And it took the nail polish off very well, but I did not like the fact that it re-deposited the color onto my skin. I ended up having to get regular nail polish remover to get it off of my skin.4
great to have when you are on the go and need to take off polish, good product5
