We close our compacts and screw on moisturizer tops, all to keep dirt and dust away from the products that touch our faces. But somehow makeup brushes get tossed around in cosmetic bags and left on vanity shelves. That’s why these brush guards are perfect—they keep our tools clean and protected against all the yuckiness that builds up.
An underwhelming addition to the Birchbox, I don't see myself using these would rather have had a different sample of a beauty product.2
These do what they're supposed to do-- keep the brush shape after cleaning-- but I probably wouldn't buy them myself. Of all the things I could spend my beauty budget on, I just didn't see a huge difference in laying out my brushes vs using these.3
I bought these guards to go with the set. Don't have much use for many of them, as the set comes with plenty. Wish there was one for my poofy powder brush, even the biggest was too small. Good idea in theory but somewhat unnecessary.3
These are handy to have around, and I'm sure very nice for traveling, but I found that they stretch out easily and lose their tightness and thus effectiveness pretty quick. I also don't like that the top is just open; it seems like it would still let a lot of dirt and dust onto the brushes.3
Great idea but I already have a brush holder that keeps them nice. Hard to work with. Not worth the cost.3
These brush guards are a great thing to have on hand, especially if you do a lot of traveling. They fit, literally, every brush and are very easy to use.
I didn't buy any more, because I simply don't have a need for more. But I think anyone who does extensive traveling should invest in these. They keep your brushes safe so you can leave the bulky storage containers at home.
Use these daily via Birchbox but I would not buy on my own. Nice product but not worth my money (in my opinion). Love they keep my brushes together but I just wouldn't spend the money on them.3
I like the idea of the product and can understand why others like it. I do not travel alot and keep my brushes in good shape so this product did not have a great use for me.3
It was a nice surprise to get this but not one I use on a regular basis. They work well but for me personally, I like buying new brushes.3
The brush guards work the way the are supposed to for the most part. My favorite eyeshadow brush got a little frayed after using a guard because it didn't stay over the bristles while in my makeup bag, but the other brushes were fine. I would never pay for them but they were a nice freebie.3
