Sydney-based ModelCo prides itself in creating products that are fuss-free but high impact—ideal for off-duty beauties (models and non-models, alike). This non-sticky gloss goes on smoothly and gives lips a soft punch of sheer, slightly shimmery color. This slim tube has a built-in mirror so you can reapply on the go.
The color of this gloss was really nice, I think it could suit any skin tone. The tube has a little mirror on the side to aid in your application if there's no mirror near, which is really handy. The product itself was a little sticky for my liking, but that's not to say someone else wouldn't like it. I'm picky about what goes on my lips- I like it to add just as much moisture as it does color. And the feel is HUGE. This product didn't really moisturize, it just coated. But hey, for a night out? Sure. I'd use it. :)2
I was excited to see this full-size sample in my Birchbox & even more intrigued by the thoughtful mirror included on the barrel. Alas, I found the gloss very short-lasting (one or two unthinking licks--gone!) & a bit sticky. The sheer red I really wanted to like, but it looked garish against my pale skin, & the shimmer didn't help matters. I'd try a paler colour, but I already know my way around the gloss in general. I so wanted to love this! :(2
I am not impressed by this lip gloss. It had no color to it.2
I received the ModelCo Shine lip gloss in the strip tease color in my December Birchbox. In the bottle, it was a very pretty, natural gloss. However, on my lips it was completely clear. The shine was nice, but I didn't find it to add much of an impact on it's own. If I were to use this gloss again, I think it would definitely need to be layered over another lip color. Also, the packaging was gorgeous. I loved the little mirror on the wand. However, the consistency of the gloss made it so that several "gloss strings" stuck between the brush and the bottle when I opened it up, making a neat application a bit tricky on the go.2
The color I received in my November box is just plain unflattering. It's the berry shade. Unless you have a wicked year round tan, this is not a good color. I also noticed that this gloss seemed flavored. That's a big turn off. Overall, this is a product that does nothing for me and I'll never use.2
The color is mediocre and the gloss itself is wayyyy too sticky. While the packaging is sleek, I do not recommend. If you want that color but no stick, go for some plain ole cherry chapstick.2
I was not a huge fan of this product, which is so disappointing. I watched the video on previewing the December box and they stated it was a non-tacky lipgloss. I didn't notice the tacky-ness when I was first applying it on, but as the time went on with me wearing it, my lips would stick together - which was very unappealing. Such a shame.2
Truthfully, I'm not a big lip gloss fan, and this product didn't do much to change that. Too sticky, didn't last very long. It tasted nice though :)2
the color was too subtle and I felt it was sticky, I'd rather put on a clear gloss that moisturizes and feels good on my lips than this product. the packaging was nice and I was optimistic but the color was too close to my natural lip color so I don't see myself bothering to put this on.2
I liked the scent of this--very strawberry--even though it was a bit more strongly scented than I usually prefer. The color was pretty but way too sheer, and too similar to some lipgloss I already have. The texture was just a bit too sticky. Overall, the lipgloss is not bad, but I didn't like it enough to purchase.2
