Sydney-based ModelCo prides itself in creating products that are fuss-free but high impact—ideal for off-duty beauties (models and non-models, alike). This non-sticky gloss goes on smoothly and gives lips a soft punch of sheer, slightly shimmery color. This slim tube has a built-in mirror so you can reapply on the go.
While this lipgloss felt fine going on and I love the mirror on the case, I wasn't all that impressed with the gloss itself. The color itself was so light, that I really couldn't even tell it was on me, it comes off a little too easily. All in all, I just don't think it was worth the $16 price. I actually prefer my Rimmel lipgloss that I paid $4 for much better.2
I liked the subtle tint of the gloss, but the texture was a little too tacky for me. It has a nice scent, although I would have preferred no scent. It is wearable and I will continue using the tube I have, but won't be coming back for more.2
Didn't care for the flavor at all, but my 8 year old loves it.2
I really liked the color of this product, but it was just way too sticky for my taste...it didn't taste too great either when I got some in my mouth accidentally.2
The scent was great, the color was nice, but it was too thin, had no staying power, and didn't add much shine to my lips. I've put in in my purse for emergency use.2
Love the smell, but will not be using this product due to its sticky texture.2
As far as lip glosses go this was pretty good. It wasn't like putting glue on my lips or anything, the color was lovely and the packaging was great! It has a mirror on the bottle which I thought was particularly clever.2
In presentation, this lip gloss looked great: great packaging (a mirror on the side of the container=Genius!) and it looked like a beautiful berry pink. However, the gloss itself left much to be desired. The color was almost nonexisitant, it pretty much looked clear on my lips. However, it did have a nice strawberry scent to it. Would not purchase this on my own.2
What I look for in a lip gloss is both shine and color. This product states that it has a sheer color. That's true. It essentially matches the color of my lips (I had Berry). But when I saw the amazing color in the tube, I was hoping that would be the color of the lip gloss.
Two other things it promises is high gloss and lasting power. However, it has neither. The gloss is light and doesn't really do anything for the lips but highlight them. I would have preferred a thicker gloss to really get a high shine that shapes the lips. So it's an extremely thin gloss. It also doesn't last, the slight color or gloss. You need to reapply it every hour or so.
It isn't sticky, however. That's nice. And I did love the mirror on the package. I usually apply lip gloss on the bus or in class. So that made it much easier. I would not buy this product though, until the color is deeper/pigmented and the gloss actually glossy.
This gloss is a great color (I ended up with the pink), not crazy sticky, and I love the mirror on the side. It's really nice that the sample size is the real size, too. But the smell is much too strong for me to wear it regularly - think fruity candy smelly. I'll still use it, I think, but not as often as I would.2
