Sometimes you just need to get things down on paper. Field Notes are there for when you’re out and about, whether that’s on a road trip, in a bar, or exploring a new city. With a vintage design inspired by agricultural memo books of the early 20th century, these journals are small and flexible enough to fit in a back pocket. The set also comes with a pair of colorful retro clic pens so you’re prepared whenever inspiration strikes.
Pretty surprised I received this item but it was a welcome addition. It was nothing special however, just some pens and scratch paper, overall OK.3
These notepads are great. Easy to carry around and they get a lot of interest. The size easily fits in a coat or pant pocket.5
I like the way these look. They’re overpriced and the pens are sub-doctors office level quality, but this is the kind of stuff you use to convince yourself that you’re an important and interesting person. Maybe that’s why they’re selling them for $10. Aesthetically the pen and notebook combo is more than appealing, they’re small enough to put in your back pocket, and carry far more hipster status (because it’s now a full blown fashion statement, despite the whimpers of all you “real hipsters” out there) than taking notes with your readily available smartphone.
These are great. The size of the notebooks are perfect for putting in your pocket. I'm always writing stuff down, so these were awesome.5
I wasn't thrilled to get this packet in my box, but they came in handy for taking notes on the fly. They fit in a back pocket or inside pocket without being too bulky. I have been using a large post it on the inside cover to keep track of my TO DO list because I can take it and post it on the computer and it has made a difference. Here I own an array of electronic equipment to do that, but seriously nothing seems to beat the old pen and paper.5
Fun, classic and utilitarian, these little notebooks are perfect for your purse or pocket. Nice for quick lists or notes.
I rather not waste one of my products from birch box on a spiral I will write list on. I mean it's kind of cute but not what I'm looking for through this service.1
I love these field notebooks! I received my birchbox right before I went on my first trip to Europe, and needless to say, I put these field notebooks to some serious work. The pens didn't last as long as I would have liked, but I could have just got a bad batch. Other than that, the books were awesome; durable and easy enough to squeeze into your pockets on the go.5
I like having these little notepads handy in case I ever need to write down any information. They are nice to keep in your car with you.4
As someone who has used another popular brand of notebooks, I was very pleased to receive this sample of Field Notes in my Sept. box - right before I was about to depart for a trip abroad. They were great and super handy, while I was traveling - because sometimes, it isn't so easy to fumble around with your phone, unlocking, etc. when you are asking someone for directions, recommendations, etc.
They were relatively durable, while not adding any unnecessary bulk.
