As certified blush addicts, we take our pigments very seriously. We love Jouer’s silky mineral powders because they give skin a velvety smooth finish and come in a range of perky shades. In addition to being oil-free and gentle on sensitive skin, the formula has subtle light diffusers to give skin a soft focus glow. You’ll want all six flattering shades.
This is a super pigmented blush. It was hard to tell which color was which by the way the site organized them which I thought was odd so I actually ended up ordering the wrong one. It was super bright pink and not great with my skin color but when I have a tan it give a nice glow.4
I picked this up at the Soho store with the help of a saleswoman and am so pleased with it. I purchased rose, it's light, enables me to layer the depth of color, and looks very subtle.
I bought this because i needed a blush that wasn't shimmery and this was perfect! Great color and good for my sensitive skin.5
I really love this blush for it's texture. It goes on flawlessly. I picked Rose, which is supposed to be "universally flattering" pinky bronze and I found it more bronze than pink. OK if you're tan, but if you are fair it's a bit too orange. I would have given it a 5 if the color was right.,4
The Rose tint is such a beautiful color and looks so good on! It has such a beautiful glow and is so good for sensitive skin. I love the rose as an everyday shade and I'm hoping to pick up the other 5 shades soon.5
I bought this blush in Peony and it is such a beautiful color! It is VERY pigmented, so use a light hand to apply it.3
I really like Jouer's innovative modular packaging. It's sleek and cute , minimalist and classy. The blush itself has a decent amount of pigment and wears pretty well. Could last a little longer, but it's a nice color with a very natural finish. I would definitely check out more from the line and would consider buying this blush again.4
I agree with one of the other reviews, that powder was a bit dry for me and not easy to blend. I already have dry skin to begin with. But I did enjoy the color. Rose was very flattering.3
For my fair skin, Blossom was just too bright of an orange, and had that very visible clown effect no woman wants. I prefer a lighter blush so that if I over-apply, I still won't look crazy. This one is not idiot proof! Also, the texture of the powder is extremely dry. It was my first experiment with an oil free powder; if your skin is combination like mine, this may be too drying for you.3
These blushes work well for a wash of color and for layering up for a heavier look. Bloom is great for a natural flush (I have pale skin). It has a bit of tan in it, it's not just pink. The peony is hot pink. It only works on my skin tone if I just use a tiny bit. The cases snap together or with other jouer compacts to make storage and travel easier. It's a nice little extra.4
