We've long been faithful to Jouer's best selling Luminizing Moisture Tint, a cult product that gives you a smooth, glowy complexion instantly. We never thought anything could come between us and our beloved LMT—until we met the mattifying version. And this formula does more than just look good: It nourishes and safeguards your complexion with vitamins A, C, and E to deflect free radicals, plus titanium and zinc dioxides for SPF 15 UV protection. There are five shades: Porcelain is best for very fair complexions; Linen is a slightly darker beige that works for pale complexions; Nude is a light tan suited to light to medium complexions; Chamomile is a golden tone for medium to tan complexions; and Hazel, a nutty brown, is perfect for tan to dark complexions.
I do not like to wear foundation, but I've had wonderful experiences with Birchbox samples in the past and was excited to try this out. It is everything I hate about foundation- thick, creamy, obvious. I put as little as I could and blended as much as I could and it just felt awful. Thank goodness for my Liz Earle cleanser to get that gunk off.1
I have normal to dry skin and this was way too dry for me. It showed all of my drier skin. Maybe this would be best during the summer or for oily skin.1
Was streaky and I didnt like the finish. Maybe if I were younger with more perfect skin this would be good.1
I am not a fan of concealers and that's what this felt like. It went on smooth but did not have a smooth appearance. It also felt a little cakey. I thought maybe it was the way It was applied and gave it second chance but still had a rough unfinished appearance.1
I didn't like the color of this product. I have medium color skin and it made me look pale1
I was really excited to try this product. After about 30 minutes of it on my skin, my skin felt very heavy, started to get red and very itchy. I took it off right away, but my skin was still extremely irritated.1
I'm not big on tinted moisturizers apparently. I need more coverage than this product has to offer. I'm sure it is great for those who do not have many imperfections, or maybe if you can blend it with other products, but with the products I had in my arsenal, it just seemed to make it worse, and this just ended up rolling off my face somehow.1
My first experience with Jouer left me a little disappointed. Most tinted SPF moisturizers are chalky and don’t apply smoothly over skin. Jouer’s Matte Moisture tint was creamy, a perfect blend that moisturized my skin and provided SPF coverage. It’s tint is heavier than most, which is where my disappointment comes in. Instead of the tint blending into my skin, it sat on top making it look as if I applied a thin layer of foundation. To make my skin look natural, another layer would be required which defeats the purpose of tinted moisturizers. It’s as if the tint was an afterthought to the moisturizer, and the two weren’t tested to adequately to go together. This one is a fail. Either they need to remove the tint, or adjust the formula to distribute the tint evenly and more transparently.1
I didn't like the sticky feeling this left on my skin. I also wasn't of fan of the color. The matte seemed to stick to my eye area and magnified fine lines. I wouldn't recommend this product of an aging woman in her 50s.1
I needed to use this with moisturizer in order to feel like my face wasn't too dry. Also, a dime-size amount is suggested...I used this and it was WAY too much. The color doesn't blend very well and so it never looked quite right on me.1
