We've long been faithful to Jouer's best selling Luminizing Moisture Tint, a cult product that gives you a smooth, glowy complexion instantly. We never thought anything could come between us and our beloved LMT—until we met the mattifying version. And this formula does more than just look good: It nourishes and safeguards your complexion with vitamins A, C, and E to deflect free radicals, plus titanium and zinc dioxides for SPF 15 UV protection. There are five shades: Porcelain is best for very fair complexions; Linen is a slightly darker beige that works for pale complexions; Nude is a light tan suited to light to medium complexions; Chamomile is a golden tone for medium to tan complexions; and Hazel, a nutty brown, is perfect for tan to dark complexions.
I am a huge fan of the Jouer Luminizing Moisturizing Tint and thought the matte product would be my go-to for fall and winter. I tried multiple applications but was disappointed each time. First, I tried the product alone as a foundation, but it was too thick and chalky. Then I tried it with an oil-free face moisturizer but it looked uneven. After a few more trial (but mostly error) runs, it was time to send it back.1
I got this as a sample in my Birchbox, so I thought i'd give it a shot. Around 2pm at work while I was in the bathroom I caught a glimpse and it looked like it was just sitting on top of my skin. When I looked closer it almost appeared as if I never blended my makeup or I had dry skin. I have oily skin, so i blotted. Normally when I blot no makeup comes off, but this time it was almost like the mosturizer was encapsulated in my facial oil. I dont know what went wrong here...maybe this isn't good for oily skin, but this product was awful for my skin type1
Got a color that was WAY too dark for me, even in the middle of summer. I didn't see much difference other than it made me look dark. Not a fan of this or any other Jouer products I've received. And even if I did like something the samples are so small I wouldn't even get any use out if but once.1
Color was way off, and shimmer didn't help, definitely not a product for me!1
This is the 3rd time I've received this sample. It's in a very dark shade too. I am very pale so this is a complete waste... again.1
Just not into foundation or tint or anything like that...I like minimal makeup but high impact touches...1
the color was way too dark for me, it turned my skin yellow.1
it was more like heavy foundation, the sample size was way to small and the color was way to dark for me1
This was overall too small, I think you might be able to get one full use out of it. However the color was beyond wrong, being Fair, it doesn't make much sense to give me a medium color. So its pretty much a throw away or try to give it to a friend that is MUCH darker.1
this product does nothing special for me, especially since the nude color does not readily match my skin tone. I'm not terribly fond of the texture of this product either. I would skip it.1
