We've long been faithful to Jouer's best selling Luminizing Moisture Tint, a cult product that gives you a smooth, glowy complexion instantly. We never thought anything could come between us and our beloved LMT—until we met the mattifying version. And this formula does more than just look good: It nourishes and safeguards your complexion with vitamins A, C, and E to deflect free radicals, plus titanium and zinc dioxides for SPF 15 UV protection. There are five shades: Porcelain is best for very fair complexions; Linen is a slightly darker beige that works for pale complexions; Nude is a light tan suited to light to medium complexions; Chamomile is a golden tone for medium to tan complexions; and Hazel, a nutty brown, is perfect for tan to dark complexions.
I received this sample in my February box. I was less than impressed with the size, and the shade was a bit darker than my skin tone. I tried the product on the back of my hand because I was curious as to the coverage and texture. Coverage was sheer, which is fine on days I am having a good skin day, but it felt tacky and just "off" (sticky, greasy, ick) from the product I usually use. Not a fan.1
This felt more like a heavy foundation than a "moisture tint." It wasn't moisturizing at all. Very disappointed!1
I loved this for the first 4 hours or so. Then it started to settle into lines and pores and became pretty ugly.1
I generally stay away from tinted moisturizers (I have some major dry spots on my face) but I thought I'd give this one a try since it came in my Birchbox this month. Unfortunately it was no different than any other tinted moisturizers that I've tried before. Rather than moisturize the color just kind of stuck to the dry skin and highlighted those trouble spots even more. This would probably work better for someone who needs it just for the foundation aspect of the product and not for the moisture.1
This tinted moisturizer provided more coverage than other brands I have tried, but it was not very moisturizing. The texture was dry, making application/blending difficult, and after a few hours my face looked dry and flaky.1
I just dont' like the texture. At my age I'm looking ofr my sking to be dewy, not matte.1
This like other "tinted" moisturizers did not agree with my sensitive skin. I can't say that it is the fault of the product. I am sure it works well for some. I would say if you have sensitive skin or tend to be sensitive to tinted products test first to avoid a full reaction.1
I appreciate the idea behind this product, but it's simply not a good match for my combination skin. I live in the Midwest and it's winter here, so my face had some mild dryness when I sampled the product. Upon application, the tint concentrated on the areas of dryness and would not blend. Instead of moisturizing my skin, it made it look even more dry by enhancing the flakiness. It looked so horrible, I wiped it off immediately. I gave the sample to a friend. She doesn't have problems with dryness. Maybe it will work for her.1
Unfortunately I've heard great things about this brand, but my color profile says fair and I was sent medium. It looked like self-tanner on my skin. Absolutely awful.1
I am not crazy about this product. It seemed to lay on top of my skin and not absorb, which is a problem with a lot of moisturizers for me anyways, so this fact was not surprising. It did make my skin look dewey though, which was a nice effect.1
