We've long been faithful to Jouer's best selling Luminizing Moisture Tint, a cult product that gives you a smooth, glowy complexion instantly. We never thought anything could come between us and our beloved LMT—until we met the mattifying version. And this formula does more than just look good: It nourishes and safeguards your complexion with vitamins A, C, and E to deflect free radicals, plus titanium and zinc dioxides for SPF 15 UV protection. There are five shades: Porcelain is best for very fair complexions; Linen is a slightly darker beige that works for pale complexions; Nude is a light tan suited to light to medium complexions; Chamomile is a golden tone for medium to tan complexions; and Hazel, a nutty brown, is perfect for tan to dark complexions.
This was fine. I think that it would probably be better for someone with oily skin. I use a bb cream on "no makeup" days and add a liquid foundation when I need more coverage. This just isn't something that I need, and it went on a little dry for me.3
Great product, however too pricey for me to switch from my current product.3
It did have sheer coverage and mattifying qualitifies. It has a mouse-like texture. I suggest this during spring/summer. For the colder months, you'll need to have to add moisturizer.3
I received this tinted moisturizer in my first Birchbox! Super exciting, especially since I appreciate a more natural look over all and am rather a novice to the makeup world. So I cleaned up my face right away to try the product.
Unfortunately the tint on the sample was too yellowy and dark for my skin. It had a nice sheer application, and didn't smell too much - which I like. But in the end it just looked wrong on my face. Gave it to a friend and I'm looking forward to a different sample in the future.
Not a horrible product, just not for me. Didn't like the feel of it.3
I have blemished skin so I rarely skip foundation. But in cases where you are going to the beach or pool, or just running some errands and don't want to put a full face of make-up on, I find this to be a great substitute for foundation. I only wish my sample color was a little darker.3
The texture is silky smooth yet matte (unusual combo) so feels very good when smoothing on however is very sheer and does not provide much coverage (will not help with much more than evening out skin tone a bit). While I appreciate the sheerness of the product and ease of smoothing on, matte is usually best for younger, oilier skin otherwise it can look aging because settles into fine lines.3
I thought this was going to have a bit more of a tint than it actually had. It went on smooth, and prevented me from getting shiny, but I still had to use my regular make up on top of it. Maybe I just got too light of a color?3
This was just okay, not bad but not good. I've tried others that seem to actually do something...this did not.
If you are looking for a matte look, this product will give you that. Make sure you choose the proper shade for your skin tone and be careful applying, as it could look cakey if not distrubuted evenly.3
