We've long been faithful to Jouer's best selling Luminizing Moisture Tint, a cult product that gives you a smooth, glowy complexion instantly. We never thought anything could come between us and our beloved LMT—until we met the mattifying version. And this formula does more than just look good: It nourishes and safeguards your complexion with vitamins A, C, and E to deflect free radicals, plus titanium and zinc dioxides for SPF 15 UV protection. There are five shades: Porcelain is best for very fair complexions; Linen is a slightly darker beige that works for pale complexions; Nude is a light tan suited to light to medium complexions; Chamomile is a golden tone for medium to tan complexions; and Hazel, a nutty brown, is perfect for tan to dark complexions.
I felt that I needed to really rub this in, but once I did, I liked the texture. I prefer a more sheer layer and would probably cut this half and half with my usual daily moisturizer with SPF - I have freckles that always show through foundation, so I prefer not to look like I'm covering them up. The color that I got (hazel) was very dark for my winter skin - I'm going to hold on to it and try it again in the summer.3
I loved it.. loved how it made my skin feel.... But these types of products cause breakouts, so not for me.3
The Jouer Matte Moisture Tint was creamy and went on smooth, but the sample color was just too dark for my skin.3
this shade would work better at summertime. It would have been better sent out in Junes box3
I thought the tint was alright, not great but just okay. For a moisture tint it did not feel moisturizing at all. It did stay mostly matte (aside from my oily spots) throught the time I wore it. But it was kind of dry to put on/blend in and I expect more from a moisture tint (like Perscriptives brand...awesome tint!). So while the product was okay, I think I would keep looking to find a better makeup as every brand makes a version.3
This product looked cakey on my winter dry skin. It might be better for summer when the southern humidity really kicks in.3
This is a rather thick product and gives exceptional coverage. As the color was way wrong for me, it is difficult to detect how it would look under makeup.3
I had not tried this product before getting it in my Birchbox, I have seen it around but not bought it because I thought it was a bit expensive. I did like the amount of coverage it gave but I felt like it was too heavy for a tinted moisturizer. I don't wear foundation or a whole lot of face makeup, but I would use this product if I wanted a little more coverage. I think it did give a matte complexion like it says, but again a little heavy for a moisturizer in my opinion.3
I'm not all impressed with this product but I don't hate it either. There wasn't anything about it that stood out to make me want to purchase it for future use.3
This product was a little dark for my skin tone. But when I applied it i was very satisfied with the texture.3
