We've long been faithful to Jouer's best selling Luminizing Moisture Tint, a cult product that gives you a smooth, glowy complexion instantly. We never thought anything could come between us and our beloved LMT—until we met the mattifying version. And this formula does more than just look good: It nourishes and safeguards your complexion with vitamins A, C, and E to deflect free radicals, plus titanium and zinc dioxides for SPF 15 UV protection. There are five shades: Porcelain is best for very fair complexions; Linen is a slightly darker beige that works for pale complexions; Nude is a light tan suited to light to medium complexions; Chamomile is a golden tone for medium to tan complexions; and Hazel, a nutty brown, is perfect for tan to dark complexions.
I have light skin and this product made me look orange1
I hated this product!! The coloring is WAY off, and a totally darker shade than I should be wearing. What a waste of the entire product! Not cool. Also, when I did test it out, it felt super thick on my face. Not for me at all. I will stick to my Dr. Jart BB cream for face coverage.1
If the manufacturer omitted the slight pearly SHIMMER, this would be a product I could love.
SHIMMER does not make skin look 'dewy' or any of that. It doesn't fool anyone into thinking you have a youthful glow, either. It just looks like your face is shimmery.
The feel is light, coverage is great (although the sample I received was in 'Linen' and was VERY yellow/orange-based. The oompa loopma look is not for me.). Shimmer is minimal so may not bother some, but is not appealing to me.
This brand is the worst. You order a $40 foundation and receive a "full size" product no larger than a matchbook. And, what's worse is their "porcelain" shade turned my skin yellow. Gross.1
The consistency and coverage seemed fine, however, the tint that I received was ORANGE. I can't imagine anybody's skintone being this color, unless they have used a self tanner that turned them orange.1
I was so excited to see this in my box this month. I took it out squeezed some on the back of my hand and it was about 3 shades too dark for me. This isn't the first time that birch box has sent me the wrong color and I always check my preferences and make sure my color is right and it is. So I'm not sure why they keep sending me the wrong color but it's starting to get very annoying. I was super excited to try this because I have been looking to buy it for some time so when I saw the sample in this months box I was over the moon. I just wish birch box would start sending the right color so I can stop throwing my samples out and start actually using them.1
I have mature skin....I don't matte anything! Who wants to emphasize lines? Well this certainly will. Not a fan at all of this months box. Small samples and just all around unimpressed. Need to rethink my subscription for 2016.1
My skin was left looking dried out and caked with product after using a tiny amount. It's so yellow!1
Hated the color, texture, just hated the product all together. I do not use skin products1
I don't normally use a base/makeup foundation, but will always try something in place of my standard moisturizer. This cream was THE WORST THING IVE EVER USED from Birchbox and thge first BB sample I've ever thrown away instead of handing over to someone else. The neutral color went on like an old pancake makeup. It maximized EVERY line in my face and even my husband who never criticizes my look for fear of hurting feelings/being negative, even admitted it was awful. It was very thick on my face and the only one good thing, if you could call it that, is that it was a long lasting base. This awful look didn't go anywhere. This was the worst makeup I have ever used--I have normal complexion, dunno what the prob was, but did NOT work for me!1
