We've long been faithful to Jouer's best selling Luminizing Moisture Tint, a cult product that gives you a smooth, glowy complexion instantly. We never thought anything could come between us and our beloved LMT—until we met the mattifying version. And this formula does more than just look good: It nourishes and safeguards your complexion with vitamins A, C, and E to deflect free radicals, plus titanium and zinc dioxides for SPF 15 UV protection. There are five shades: Porcelain is best for very fair complexions; Linen is a slightly darker beige that works for pale complexions; Nude is a light tan suited to light to medium complexions; Chamomile is a golden tone for medium to tan complexions; and Hazel, a nutty brown, is perfect for tan to dark complexions.
I can't really comment on this product because I don't wear any complexion/tinted products that I can compare this to. I swatched it on my wrist and it seems to cover smoothly, texture is soft, no scent. I'd recommend it to someone looking to try a new product, but again, I can't really compare it to anything else. I wish BB would stop sending me tinted creams.1
First off, let me say that I do not normally wear any foundation/powder or tinted products so my review may not be fair. I always try face products on my hand first (in case of a reaction) and after doing that with this product, I had no desire to try it on my face. Besides being the wrong color for me, I thought it dried a little cake-y and, as one of my reasons for avoiding tinted products, seemed like it would continue to rub off on anything it touched throughout the day. It's a no-go for me.1
Havent had good luck with this brand so far. Cant seem to match my skin color.1
I was excited about this, but when I put it on, it was greasy, thick and really hard to put on. It was way too heavy and I couldn't wait to get it off my face.1
I have heard of Joue and have a great impression of it but after trying this, I could not love it. It was on the dry side for me and it was several shades lighter. I tried to blend color with other products but it's texture was not the blend able type and left with a chalky face. It might be good with a moisturizer face first. I did not moisturize first for fear it would weaken the spf. I had to wipe off my fave with a cloth because it looked real bad and my face dry and chalky despite being a well exfoliated face.1
I received this in a previous Birchbox in a different formula. Does not cover my skin at all.1
I love the sample size and packaging, but this formula made me break out with sensitive skin. It's felt thicker and stickier than most tinted moisturizers.1
Ehh...Birchbox, what were you thinking? I am light skinned and received a medium-to-dark color. An entire sample wasted, and a product I actually was excited to try. What a shame.1
Very small sample size and not a product i normally use1
Dried my skin out almost immediately and left it patchy looking all day1
