We've long been faithful to Jouer's best selling Luminizing Moisture Tint, a cult product that gives you a smooth, glowy complexion instantly. We never thought anything could come between us and our beloved LMT—until we met the mattifying version. And this formula does more than just look good: It nourishes and safeguards your complexion with vitamins A, C, and E to deflect free radicals, plus titanium and zinc dioxides for SPF 15 UV protection. There are five shades: Porcelain is best for very fair complexions; Linen is a slightly darker beige that works for pale complexions; Nude is a light tan suited to light to medium complexions; Chamomile is a golden tone for medium to tan complexions; and Hazel, a nutty brown, is perfect for tan to dark complexions.
I have very fair skin and this product turned my face yellow. It was definitely not my shade. I keep wanting to try tinted moisturizers but they do not wear well on my face--the color and the texture. Not a product for me!1
Jouer Matte Moisture Tint left my face with a streaky, beady buildup. It did not blend well and I thought the finish was a little too "velvety" and did not look natural at all.1
While I LOVED this at first, after a while the color and water separated. This is disappointing because I had high hopes for this product after receiving the sample. Smashbox makes a better tinted moisturizer.1
This is the smallest sample I've ever seen in a tube. It really can't be much bigger than the smears that come on a card. It's floating around in a drawer somewhere, the shade is far too dark for my very fair skin.1
It doesn't blend well and it looked oily on my skin. My husband asked me what I did to my face. Will not use or buy.1
This product is thick and yucky. It made my face look bright orange like- worse than the cast of the jersey shore and my pores instantly felt so clogged that I had to re-wash/moisturize immediately.1
I am, admittedly, /silicone sensitive. I can't use most BB or CC creams, or primers because they clog my pores as cause me prett bad breakouts.
Birchbox doesn't disclose the ingredients for this product like it does some others, so I made the dumb assumption that it probably didn't have any major allergens. I also saw a couple reviews obline saying it didn't irritate skin. Unfortunately, when I squeezed it out of the tube it was obvious that it was silicone-based. I was in a hurry so I decided to give it a go.
I put this foundation on this morning, after about twenty minutes i felt about thirty seconds of mild burning, but was fine for the rest of the day. I am around an NC35 and I have the shade Nude. When I first put it on it looked very pale and grey on my skin, despite looking yellowy as warm out of the tube. I warmed my face up with some bronzer, but found that the foundation oxidized to something much more suiting after an hour or two.
The foundation itself looked pretty good. I have oily/combo skin and it was fine from 10:45am (I set it with a powder base) to about 6PM with one powder touch-up and one tissue-blotting. By 7 it was definitely starting to break down, though.
The real issue came when I took my makeup off. My face was covered in large red pimples and small blackheads. I've been having jawline breakouts for a couple months, but I medicate them, and never break out on my cheeks. I occasionally use Korean BBs as a base before a night out, and even those usuallt give me a painful bump or two at worst. I enjoyed the look and feel of this product, but my skin had a major reaction to it. Careful if you're sensitive.
This product looked awful on my face. It felt heavy and didn't look natural at all. I saved my sample and even tried it a couple months later, same results, I washed my face immediately. Doesn't work well for me...1
I received a sample of this product a few months ago and loved it immediately. It provides nice coverage without feeling to heavy and love that it provides SPF coverage as well.1
I bought the full size product after using the sample. At first, I really liked it - as it covers up well and looked good. When the new one arrived, it was the wrong shade for my skin tone and looks nasty. I don't know what to do with it now...I spent almost $40 on something that is not as good as the sample I received. The product leaves your skin kind of dry looking, cake-like...and I used it sparingly. It's best for the winter, not a good summer item at all. It says velvety finish - that is certainly true - dry velvet!1
