We've long been faithful to Jouer's best selling Luminizing Moisture Tint, a cult product that gives you a smooth, glowy complexion instantly. We never thought anything could come between us and our beloved LMT—until we met the mattifying version. And this formula does more than just look good: It nourishes and safeguards your complexion with vitamins A, C, and E to deflect free radicals, plus titanium and zinc dioxides for SPF 15 UV protection. There are five shades: Porcelain is best for very fair complexions; Linen is a slightly darker beige that works for pale complexions; Nude is a light tan suited to light to medium complexions; Chamomile is a golden tone for medium to tan complexions; and Hazel, a nutty brown, is perfect for tan to dark complexions.
I felt this product did not moisturize my skin at all. Worked better if I used after I put on my usual moisturizer. Also, this product was very heavy and did not cover my skin evenly (Splotchy!). Will not be purchasing this product2
I started to apply this like it was a moisturizer, then realized how dark and thick it was. It is a foundation, and a very nice one. It coats evenly, and covers my skin well. It is a bit dark for me, however, going down a shade would be perfect. This is a nice foundation if you are looking for one.5
Love this primer. Goes on smooth and does not feel heavy at all. I definitely noticed a difference in how long my makeup lasted throughout the day vs when I didn't put this on in the morning. It kept my foundation on all day without smudging or looking greasy.5
Though my sample was a tiny bit dark for my winter complexion (I got the Linen shade), this tinted moisturizer was much nicer than I had expected. It didn't cover up my freckles, but evened out my skin tone and left a nice matte finish without making me look 'made up.' I like it a lot!4
I liked this tinted moisturizer but didn't feel like it was that much better than my current BB cream. It had a nice feel, but the coverage was only ok.4
As the matte skin trend is becoming more popular, there seem to be so many products in the market. I have tried another matte foundation and it didn't feel smooth across my skin and exaggerated any dryness. The Jouer Matte Moisture product glided on smoothly and was great on already moisturized skin. Although my sample was not the best match for my skin tone, I can't wait to wear this foundation in the summer when my skin is tan!4
I enjoy receiving these makeup/skincare double whammy products. However, I already have a tinted moisturizer that I use religiously. This one was pretty good and covered well compared to other brands. Resulted in a natural glow look that even my boyfriend commented on.4
I am a frequent user of BB and CC creams and I love this product. Its moisturizing without the shine and has great coverage without being heavy or clogging my pores. Something I will buy frequently.5
I loved the matte finish of this moisturizer—my sample color wasn't quite right for my skin tone, but I was still able to use the sample. I'm not so convinced about the moisturizing properties of this cream, though—my skin seemed pretty dry. The color was also more than just a tint. I don't like to wear a lot of foundation, and I feel like I would have to use a lot of this to really get trustworthy sunscreen coverage. Liked it, but probably won't spend the pricey $48 for the full size.4
For a tinted moisturizer this has a decent amount of coverage. It also has a matte finish which is nice. I got the color Linen for my sample. It's a light slightly yellow color that works for me.4
