We've long been faithful to Jouer's best selling Luminizing Moisture Tint, a cult product that gives you a smooth, glowy complexion instantly. We never thought anything could come between us and our beloved LMT—until we met the mattifying version. And this formula does more than just look good: It nourishes and safeguards your complexion with vitamins A, C, and E to deflect free radicals, plus titanium and zinc dioxides for SPF 15 UV protection. There are five shades: Porcelain is best for very fair complexions; Linen is a slightly darker beige that works for pale complexions; Nude is a light tan suited to light to medium complexions; Chamomile is a golden tone for medium to tan complexions; and Hazel, a nutty brown, is perfect for tan to dark complexions.
Nice product but not something I use. Went on OK and lasted about as long as foundation normally does.4
I received the beige naturel shade and it is very thick and much too dark for my fair skin with freckles. It was so dark that I immediately tried to wash it off with soap and water because I thought I looked like a clown - and it was hard as heck to get off and when I dried with the towel - my towel was tan.3
I received the linen color (which definitely was too dark for me). The consistency was thick and when blended offered light to medium coverage. The color was very...yellow. Not at all neutral. Not a good match, did nothing for me.3
I love a nice tinted moisturizer, especially one that looks matte. I got a few dry spots when putting it on by itself but that can easily be fixed by using a dab of your everyday moisturizer along with this tinted one for coverage. It makes for nice coverage alone or under some powder to set it.4
I was disappointed in the small size but the couple uses I've had had been impressive.4
Finally, a quality, lightweight tinted moisturizer that is formulated specifically for those with OILY and SENSITIVE skin! I am beyond thrilled with Birchbox for hooking it up this month with my Jouer tinted moisturizer. I have never made such an immediate decision to purchase a product after only using it one time. I have fair to medium, acne-prone skin that gets very oily throughout the day so this product blew my mind when I made it the whole day without much oil production. The only critique I might have is that it doesn't look as natural as I'd like for it to look. Can come off looking more like a foundation than a tinted moiturizer. Regardless, I will still buy the full product on the company's website because they have a Beige Rose shade that fits my complexion better than the Beige Natural shade I received. Thanks Birchbox !5
I like that this product has sunscreen in it and I like the texture. It would be a better match for someone with flawless skin who is on the go a lot as it is like super easy to put on. the problem with me is that I have acne prone skin so it didn't cover much up for me and I don't want to go into public with spots showing.4
Light moisturizer, light tint. Love that it's a sunscreen, too!5
I was surprised at thick the product was at first application. I found it covered well but by the end of the day parts of it were starting to rub off. I'll stick with my regular CC cream.4
Goes on smoothly. I applied with a stiple brush. Didn't put primer on because I wanted to see if the product would be shiny or what after working all day. It wasn't shiny which is unusual for me which makes this one a winner. The sample I got was a bit too tinted especially for a winter month and I felt the sample size rather tiny in terms of being able to form a solid opinion on the product.4
