We've long been faithful to Jouer's best selling Luminizing Moisture Tint, a cult product that gives you a smooth, glowy complexion instantly. We never thought anything could come between us and our beloved LMT—until we met the mattifying version. And this formula does more than just look good: It nourishes and safeguards your complexion with vitamins A, C, and E to deflect free radicals, plus titanium and zinc dioxides for SPF 15 UV protection. There are five shades: Porcelain is best for very fair complexions; Linen is a slightly darker beige that works for pale complexions; Nude is a light tan suited to light to medium complexions; Chamomile is a golden tone for medium to tan complexions; and Hazel, a nutty brown, is perfect for tan to dark complexions.
I have bought better in drugstores. For the cost of this product, I expected something amazing. The sample size was also tiny. Smell is chemical and consistency spread to thin or absorbed too quickly- making coverage almost non-existent. Useless.2
Really liked this product. I typically use BB cream from the drugstore and was interested in finding something a little better for my skin. This stuff goes on smoothly and blends nicely - got several compliments on my skin while wearing it. And it covers a hangover :)5
I've tried about a million different BB creams/CC creams/Tinted moisturizers--this one was definitely one of the better ones. It blends well, isn't heavy on the skin, and left my skin tone looking even and glowing.5
Sure would be nice if BB sent products that matched my skin color profile. I always get dark creams and throw them away.2
When I first applied this product, it seemed that the color wasn't right for me, but after rubbing it in well, it seemed better. I have a lot of freckles, and it covered them up in a way that I didn't really like, but it covered the dark circles under my eyes. However, by the time I was done with my very short beauty regimen, the moisturizer seemed to be settling into my pores and looking splotchy as if I had on a ton of makeup. I washed it off before leaving the house.2
I was really looking forward to trying this product after I got a sneak peak into what was coming in the January box. But after getting the sample and putting it on I looked like my face was from another body. Not Jouer's fault at all, I'm very fair so I wish I had gotten a lighter shade. Anyway, it was a little more greasy than I had hoped. But I'm sure this is a great product since I really like this brand and their other products! I would give this another try with a lighter shade.4
I didn't like the color, it was too dark. It looked too make -upy. I prefer to look more natural.3
I was super excited to try this since it said that it was matte. I decided to try this during a workout and it held up amazing. It gives a decent coverage and I'm definitely going to purchase!5
It goes on very smoothly. It moisturizers and provides a very light, natural coverage while letting your natural skin breath and show.4
I'm definitely happy that the color of this sample was actually a pretty good match for my skin tone. I haven't yet tried it under my regular foundation to try it as a base layer, but I did try it by itself without anything over it. It felt nice when I applied it and didn't have a weird smell like some spf products can have. However I did feel that I needed to apply some other product over this one as it didn't have much staying power. Maybe it was just my skin or maybe I used it wrong, but I saw myself in the mirror four hours later and it didn't look like I had applied any at all.4
