We've long been faithful to Jouer's best selling Luminizing Moisture Tint, a cult product that gives you a smooth, glowy complexion instantly. We never thought anything could come between us and our beloved LMT—until we met the mattifying version. And this formula does more than just look good: It nourishes and safeguards your complexion with vitamins A, C, and E to deflect free radicals, plus titanium and zinc dioxides for SPF 15 UV protection. There are five shades: Porcelain is best for very fair complexions; Linen is a slightly darker beige that works for pale complexions; Nude is a light tan suited to light to medium complexions; Chamomile is a golden tone for medium to tan complexions; and Hazel, a nutty brown, is perfect for tan to dark complexions.
This is a lovely product; I have a very active lifestyle so I typically wear tinted sunscreens or moisturizers and mascara as my full makeup routine. This product stays on all day and has nice coverage for just a tinted moisturizer. I'd recommend!5
I have tried lots and lots of different tinted moisturizers and none of them compare to this one! I love how creamy the consistency is because it goes on even and smooth without any splotchy spots. The color they sent me gives the perfect tan glow but still blends great with my neck. I have never tried anything matte on my skin type before but I definitely like how my skin looked and felt after working all day. Everyone was asking what I'm using because i looked airbrushed ! I will definitely be purchasing this as soon as my sample size runs out!5
The tint was a pretty good match, but I did not like the Matte finish. I might use it every once in a while, but no more than that.2
I don't really don't use foundation but this may change my mind. I loved the coverage, not heavy or think. It seemed to soak right up into the skin.4
This is exactly what I was looking for without knowing it. I want only a very, very light color, just to even my complexion out, and this provides it, along with a nice matte finish -- dry, but not in a bad way. I had worried that the linen color had too many yellow undertones for my skin, but it looks fine, and actually evens out the redness I can tend towards. I loved this a whole lot more than I expected to!5
This tinted moisturizer provides better coverage than most other brands I've tried (like Laura Mercier) and has a wonderful creamy texture that makes it easy to smooth on. The "matte" formula, however, exacerbated some of the wintertime dryness on my cheeks, so it's only a 3-star product for me at this point. In the summer, when my skin is a little oiler, this would be a 4-star product.3
I loved this product for use on days that I don't want to put a full face of makeup on. The coverage is really great to be a tinted moisturizer. In the summer months, I still have to add another moisturizer, but I'm ok with that.5
I'm very fair so I'm not sure why Birchbox sent me "Linen" instead of "Porcelain." The Linen color was a bit too dark for me. It is also slightly yellow compared to my skin tone. I'm not sure if the brand generally runs on the yellow end of the spectrum or if that is just the Linen color.
This product provides decent coverage considering how nice and light it feels. It has a slightly dewy sheen, so be sure to apply a powder if you're going for a matte look.
I got this insanely tan tint for my poor white winter complexion. Needless to say it looked ridiculous after I applied it and you could tell where it ended and my natural skin tone started. It did take some effort to get off though with it's waterproofing.3
I tried this product once and went a few hours later, I bought it. The color was perfectly matched to my skin. It goes on so smooth and feels like silk. Complete coverage and since you only need to use a little bit (about half of the amount of my other stuff, Neutrogena) its not heavy or caked on looking. Really can't stress this enough : a little bit goes a long way!! Normally I would never spend $40 on foundation but this is worth every penny!!5
