We've long been faithful to Jouer's best selling Luminizing Moisture Tint, a cult product that gives you a smooth, glowy complexion instantly. We never thought anything could come between us and our beloved LMT—until we met the mattifying version. And this formula does more than just look good: It nourishes and safeguards your complexion with vitamins A, C, and E to deflect free radicals, plus titanium and zinc dioxides for SPF 15 UV protection. There are five shades: Porcelain is best for very fair complexions; Linen is a slightly darker beige that works for pale complexions; Nude is a light tan suited to light to medium complexions; Chamomile is a golden tone for medium to tan complexions; and Hazel, a nutty brown, is perfect for tan to dark complexions.
This is nice to throw on in a hurry. I typically find that the shade is off with these samples however. It's also not so easy to layer anything over like blush or bronzer. I probably always use too little because I'm trying to save up the little tube!4
I loved the color, the texture and how this spreads evenly on my face. It left my face looking even and with a tint of color. The matte finish took away any shiny or gloss look.5
Not something I really would use in my beauty routine. It is also very expensive. I guess I am a bit cheap with my makeup.4
I received the Linen sample, and it was a great match for my fair, neutral toned skin. It went on great, but has light coverage, and I prefer products with more coverage to even out my skin4
Do not get me wrong. There are several qualities of this product that I liked. I liked the smooth complexion that it gave me. I liked the fact that it included SPF. I did not like that the product had no moisturizing effect. I was not a fan of the texture on my skin....it felt dry and difficult to move around. Overall I give it a 3.4
The only thing I didn't like about this product was it dries my face out and make some problem areas look flaky.4
Tinted moisturizers don't work well for me because they don't go in evenly. Some places on my skin or more dry, so more moisturizer, and thus, more color tint, stay in that area. The result is skin color that is darker is some areas than others. This is another product I feel like a get too much of in my birchbox.3
I do not typically wear foundations. However after trying this it felt more like a moisturizer than a foundation, which I liked.4
I use this under my eyes and I really like the light feel of it. A little goes a long way.5
Had a hard time blending this in. Felt like it was a visible layer that didn't provide consistent coverage.2
