I was really happy with the formula of the Color Club Custom Collection polish. It was my first time using Color Club & I was surprised how opaque it was with one coat. However, I was really bummed that I ended up with "Put a Pin In It", which is a terrible baby pink. Okay, maybe it's not terrible... It probably works for a lot of people, but not me. I'll probably give it to somebody...2
chipped away too fast. I liked the color and the texture but it didn't last on my nails what so ever. Disappointed.2
Received the color "put a pin in it." Not a very good color for me but luckily it chipped off very easily (even with a clear coat on top)2
The polish chipped off pretty quickly and yet trying to take it off was time consuming and tougher than my other nail polishes.2
I loved the color (sparkly violet) for the holidays- but the poish chipped really fast.2
Loved the Put a Pin In It color but the polish started flaking and wearing off after one day. So, won't buy it.2
Received Put a Pin In It and love the color but the polish wears off extremely fast. So, I won't be buying it.2
First of all, let me say that I am a nail polish addict. I have drawers upon drawers of nail polish. So, I was pretty excited to see a pretty pink metallic Color Club polish in my November Birchbox.
Color Club is a brand I've been wanting to try for AGES but I've never been able to try because they aren't available where I live. Pink also happens to be my favorite color, and I think all colors are better when shiny. So, imagine my excitement when a shiny pink Color Club is delivered to my doorstep.
Sadly, I was completely let down. The formula was watery and uneven. All my nails chipped within a day.
So I'll be sticking with Essie and OPI until Birchbox gives me a better reason to stray.
The rose gold color I got was beautiful. I was initially really excited to try this product however this nail polish does not last long and seems to peel right off my nails :(2
I received the shade Status Update. Not only did I despise the color but the wear was less than noteworthy. It seems to just rub off. Not a bad thing considering the shade was so putrid. Perhaps a grungy grey is not my style! (Although I own other grey shades that I love.)2
