I like that the packets are thin and easy to carry in your purse or pack away into a suitcase for extended trips. Each packet contains one individual mitt. You can see the list of ingredients displayed on the back of the packaging. The next two ingredients after the acetone are aloe vera extract and glycerin, so I knew straight away that the remover pads would be moisturizing. The package says that one mitt can be used to clean all 10 fingers, so I decided to test it on my nemesis: glitter nail polish.
Overall I liked the Stripper To Go polish remover mitts. While most of the time I can use my pads and remover at home, this product is really nice to have on hand for traveling on vacation or any other instance where you can’t really carry a nail polish bottle and cotton pads with you.
The lavender scent is noticeable but not unbearable, it’s actually quite pleasant! And this is coming from the girl who usually hates floral scents. :-P And other than having to use the foil method for tough glitters, these remover pads really do their job of efficiently removing your nail polish while moisturizing your digits. :-)
I think the price point is a little high though. You get 6 mitts per box which averages out to about $2 per mitt. I can usually buy a 6-8 oz bottle of remover for the same price. Though if you’re only using them for traveling (and you don’t plan on changing your manicure constantly) you can make the 6 mitts go a long way if the polish you’re wearing is easy to remove (remember, 1 mitt has the ability to clean all 10 fingers).
