Sunscreen buffs know that mineral makeup is the best way to keep skin protected from UV rays without risking any pore-cloggage. It’s no wonder, then, that Peter Thomas Roth’s Instant Mineral SPF 30 is a perpetual best seller. It provides broad-spectrum SPF 30 protection while infusing skin with anti-aging actives that even out your skin tone and prevent wrinkles before they pop up. The nifty powder brush makes it easy to apply the formula, and the translucent beige powder works on a range of skin tones, from pale to golden.
I don't have a problem with the actual product. It went on nicely and had a sheer, matte finish. What I do not like about the container is that it's impossible to put the retracted brush back into the lid. I had to bend bristles to close the lid.3
I live in south florida and sometimes need to touch up my SPF through out the day. Until this came up I would ruin my makeup even if I tried to gently pat on more liquid SPF. This was the answer to my prayers. It is lightly tinted so I don't get ghost face and perfect for throwing in my purse and traveling with. Really helps to prevent sun spots and melasma on me.4
I don't think the product gives SPF 30 protection as claimed, but I used it while on vacation and it gives a nice matte finish over sunscreen in humid weather. I also like how compact the product is so it is very easy to carry while traveling.4
I've been using this product for about a year now. It REALLY works. I've actually had an experience where I put regular sunblock on my shoulders and arms, and used the mineral SPF on my face and neck. My arms and shoulders were sooo sunburned I couldn't sleep, but my face didn't get burned at all!!! I was very impressed. My only negative is that I am never sure if it coming out because it is so light and dusty. I guess that's a good thing and a bad thing.4
This product simply doesn't work very well. I find that I still get sunburned on my face and chest after applying. I've used two other brands of mineral sunscreen and they're both worked so much better.1
On the fence here. Every time I open this product about half falls on the floor, or counter. Needs a new design.3
this is the perfect sunscreen to brush on while on the go. i hate liquid sunscreen because once you already have makeup on, you dont want to mess it up. I keep it in my car so i can brush on the go!5
This product is so handy to keep in your purse or beach bag. For the past 2 summers I have been using this product instead of a sunscreen lotion. My face is always protected, it is simple to reapply and no mess!!5
Never thought this would work, until I got caught unexpectedly outside in full sun. I was worried I'd be burned, but this product really did protect me from burning. Easily applied again on my T-zone, while feeling light and airy, leaving no line. Lasts a long time, so a little does go a long way. I don't wear foundation, and this helped blur any age spots or fading pimples without appearing heavy.4
