MCMC founder Anne McClain was inspired by a free-spirited friend to create this ethereal perfume. Part of The Stories Collections—a group of scents inspired by McClain’s personal experiences—it’s the embodiment of feminine flair. The top note of vanilla quickly translates to a honeysuckle when it touches skin. The lasting note is peach, and its lightweight essence personifies the story of Phoenix.
I dislike the smell of peaches, so I wasn't crazy about this. Would be interested in sampling other fragrances from the brand, since I did like the various layers of scent in this.2
I am not sure what it is about this fragrance, but I was not totally in love with it when I first put it on. It smelled a bit like a bathroom or toilet water. Just not my cup of tea.2
i got this sample in this months box. im not a big fan of the scent. i prefer lighter scents. i would not purchase this product.2
This scent seemed a bit too "old" for me. It is not a terrible smell, just not my cup of tea.2
I ended up giving this sample to my Gram, who enjoyed it.2
I thought I smelled like a cupcake, but a co-worker said I smelled like a candle store. Meh, not a terrible smell but not one I'd choose.2
This scent isn't my favorite. I've tried it a few times and it's just not for me. It's pretty light so I could see how some people would like it.2
Like some of the other reviewers, I can't pinpoint what I didn't like about this perfume. There's something about the fragrance combination that just doesn't work for me.2
I tend to gravitate toward fragrances that are very clean, light and crisp. To be polite, this one just didn't fall in line with my typical fare. Let's just say that I was glad that I didn't actually put this ON me when I opened my sample.2
Not a fan of this scent at all. It's quite strong and faces into a rather unpleasant scent. I will be tossing this one, unfortunately.2
