MCMC founder Anne McClain was inspired by a free-spirited friend to create this ethereal perfume. Part of The Stories Collections—a group of scents inspired by McClain’s personal experiences—it’s the embodiment of feminine flair. The top note of vanilla quickly translates to a honeysuckle when it touches skin. The lasting note is peach, and its lightweight essence personifies the story of Phoenix.
I personally did not enjoy this scent and neither did anyone in my office. It reminded me of something an OLDER woman would wear, it was very strong. Defiantly not a daytime/office scent.1
I loved the name of the perfume and thought it might be something delightfully different. But was very disappointed when I placed it on my wrist, it smelt just like every other over the top in sweetness perfume on the market1
This smelled awful. It is not a light perfume at all and the scent gets worse over time.1
this sample smells really horrible on me. i thought the packaging was cute and the little story intrigued me, but the scent was definitely not for me. the floral notes were overpoewring1
I really didn't like the smell of this perfume. Just not for me. Reminded me of my grandmother a bit.1
This perfume has an overwhelming unpleasant scent that reminds me of my grandma. I did not like it for me.1
I was expecting this to smell wonderful, as most of my samples have in the past, but as soon as I sprayed it I immediately had to shower because it smelled so awful!1
This is one of the most offensive perfumes i have ever encountered. I can't imagine what the creators had in mind. Beware!1
Perfume is definitely subjective but this scent was not for me, nor apparently for my co workers. My office mates could smell it on me and they thought it stunk.1
I put this on after receiving my Birchbox and hated it. I sat down to eat dinner and had to get up to wash my arm off because the smell was making me nauseous. It is truly awful.1
