MCMC founder Anne McClain was inspired by a free-spirited friend to create this ethereal perfume. Part of The Stories Collections—a group of scents inspired by McClain’s personal experiences—it’s the embodiment of feminine flair. The top note of vanilla quickly translates to a honeysuckle when it touches skin. The lasting note is peach, and its lightweight essence personifies the story of Phoenix.
I will say that I am very sensitive to fragrance, and usually do not wear anything other than my long-standing favorite. This was light and fresh, without any of the headache-triggers I usually encounter. Recommended!4
I'm not a huge fragrance person, and not a big vanilla person, but this fragrance arranges pretty feminine notes in a sophisticated way. Quite pleasant!4
I loved the musky smell of vanilla in this perfume. It was my favorite birch box perfume sample received to date!4
I like the peach notes - I don't like most perfumes, as they don't mix well with my skin, but this one does. It's delicious!4
Nice, light. Wasn't overly sweet, and the vanilla didn't knock me off my rocker - nice musk undertone. I feel it's a bit too junior for me, but still a nice sample.4
Obviously a $95 eau de parfum is going to smell nice, I am one for vanilla so this hit the spot, but the price, not so much. The review is about quality though, so I give it four stars.4
When I smelled in the bottle, I was a little concerned it smelt "old" but I gave it s try and loved how it smelt on me. It stayed put all day long and I got several compliments
Wonderful scent. Although it is a little pricey at $95, it is a beautiful aroma. I can't wait to get the rollerball to travel with.4
I gave this sample to my daughter. She really liked it. I am thinking about ordering her a full bottle for Christmas.4
I love this perfume! It is the perfect mixture of sweet and floral. Just the amount of subtle "feminine flair"!4
