MCMC founder Anne McClain was inspired by a free-spirited friend to create this ethereal perfume. Part of The Stories Collections—a group of scents inspired by McClain’s personal experiences—it’s the embodiment of feminine flair. The top note of vanilla quickly translates to a honeysuckle when it touches skin. The lasting note is peach, and its lightweight essence personifies the story of Phoenix.
This isn't really a year-round fragrance (for me, at least), but it's perfect for cooler weather. It's not sweet, but it's not exactly Poison, you know? It's pleasantly in the middle. I'm glad Birchbox introduced me to this!4
I love this perfume. The scent is unique... very floral and intense. I usually use lighter scents like Kate Spade "Twirl" so it is a great change of pace. I will start using it as my everyday scent.5
this sample smells really horrible on me. i thought the packaging was cute and the little story intrigued me, but the scent was definitely not for me. the floral notes were overpoewring1
i got this sample in this months box. im not a big fan of the scent. i prefer lighter scents. i would not purchase this product.2
I loved the scent the second I smelled it. I plan to purchase one soon.4
Love this scent! It is a little pricey though so I probably wont be purchasing myself but would love to receive as a gift!4
This scent seemed a bit too "old" for me. It is not a terrible smell, just not my cup of tea.2
The is the kind of fragrance that you put on and get instance gratification, but the best part is hours later when you smell the sweet fragrance warmed up. To me it seems like you have rubbed a vanilla bean on your wrist. Its playful, but sophisticated. I am in love with this perfume.5
I really didn't like the smell of this perfume. Just not for me. Reminded me of my grandmother a bit.1
This perfume has an overwhelming unpleasant scent that reminds me of my grandma. I did not like it for me.1
