MCMC founder Anne McClain was inspired by a free-spirited friend to create this ethereal perfume. Part of The Stories Collections—a group of scents inspired by McClain’s personal experiences—it’s the embodiment of feminine flair. The top note of vanilla quickly translates to a honeysuckle when it touches skin. The lasting note is peach, and its lightweight essence personifies the story of Phoenix.
I was really expecting more from this sample from the great review I watched on the box preview video, but I didn't like it at all. The fragrance is not the kind that can fit a wide range of people or smell pleasant to anyone. In other words, it's not a neutral scent. You're taking a chance if you buy this without trying it first. I think it's the kind of smell that you either love it or hate it. Unfortunately, I hated it. :(1
I really like this Parfum! Its too soo sweet, very mild.5
Obviously a $95 eau de parfum is going to smell nice, I am one for vanilla so this hit the spot, but the price, not so much. The review is about quality though, so I give it four stars.4
I am very picky about the perfumes I wear and this one smelled horrible. I even asked my 14 year old daughter and she turned it down. This is a kid who likes the smell of everything. Definietly will not buy, not even as a gift.2
the scent has a very potent floral note, that is not fruity or nutty at all. this perfume reminded me of something my grandmother would wear.1
When I smelled in the bottle, I was a little concerned it smelt "old" but I gave it s try and loved how it smelt on me. It stayed put all day long and I got several compliments
At first I wasn't sure of this scent, but within minutes of my first dab, I was in complete adoration!! It's fresh and different, with the ability to pair well with lotions or other scents if you want to layer. The price is a bit high, but I'd consider this as my next perfume purchase.5
This perfume is the first and only perfume I have gotten through BB so far that I didn't like! I think its the peach that doesn't sit well with me. It smells just like the lobby of the Flamingo Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, which is fine when you're walking through the lobby, but I don't want that smell on my skin all day. I will not be buying this product.1
Wonderful scent. Although it is a little pricey at $95, it is a beautiful aroma. I can't wait to get the rollerball to travel with.4
This scent was absolutely beautiful and light. So intoxicating! I am especially sensitive to fragrances, and have a hard time finding one that isn't "too flowery" (aka allergy attack), "too sweet" (like a little girl), etc. This was really perfect. Of course all fragrances are such a personal choice, and smell different on every person, but if you are like me and shy away from perfumes or wear them only on special occasions, this is the one for you!5
