MCMC founder Anne McClain was inspired by a free-spirited friend to create this ethereal perfume. Part of The Stories Collections—a group of scents inspired by McClain’s personal experiences—it’s the embodiment of feminine flair. The top note of vanilla quickly translates to a honeysuckle when it touches skin. The lasting note is peach, and its lightweight essence personifies the story of Phoenix.
I love the smell of this perfume. I have received a ton of compliments after using the sample. I will definitely be ordering a full size bottle of this product!4
This is my FAVORITE perfume I've had in a long time! It's a little expensive and out of my price range so I am saving up my points for it! It's not too strong, and I love that it's not so flowery as other perfumes are!5
I didn't love this scent. I have to love a perfume to purchase it, so I won't be getting it.2
I love MCMC but this particular scent was too sweet for me1
This is a fragrance my daughter would love, just not my style of fragrance3
Smells like a perfume a little girl would like. And I mean someone younger than a tween.1
It's not my favorite, but its good enough to keep in my purse as a back-up.3
I just got my November Birchbox on Monday and this product alone made it worth the wait. I've never smelled anything quite like this and MAN I love it! Peach is one of my favorite tastes/scents and the other complex notes make this product truly irresistible, I'll be ordering this as a splurge when I rack up some more rewards points.5
I love this fragrance! When wearing it, I can't stop sniffing myself. I'm starting to get weird looks from people, but I don't mind. I just ask them if they want to sniff the awesome fragrance I'm wearing, too.4
I was excited to receive another fragrance sample until I sprayed it liberally all over myself without thinking. It was not pleasant having my friends tell me "Rachel, you stink!!!" over and over again. Washing my wrists and spraying other perfumes all over myself didn't help either, I had to shower to get the overpowering, gag-inducing fragrance off. I can understand that others may like the smell, but it seems like it would be off-putting to most. If I had a coworker that wore this at work I would definitely complain about it, it smells absolutely horrifying. Kind of like rotting flowers and spoiled fruit... who would want to smell like this!? Even for the sake of being unique?1
