MCMC founder Anne McClain was inspired by a free-spirited friend to create this ethereal perfume. Part of The Stories Collections—a group of scents inspired by McClain’s personal experiences—it’s the embodiment of feminine flair. The top note of vanilla quickly translates to a honeysuckle when it touches skin. The lasting note is peach, and its lightweight essence personifies the story of Phoenix.
I love perfume but am pretty picky about scents. I absolutely love this warm, feminine scent. This is a must buy for me.5
I did not hate this, because I saw some pretty bad reviews. But the smell was not for me. I did not like it too much. It does smell like perfumes my sister would love though so I'm putting the sample in her stocking.1
I really love how this smells! It's amazing, at first I read that it had vanilla and I tossed it but later I smelled it. And I was in love you really can't smell the vanilla... it's there but something else just smells amazing also I keep smelling it on me well over 8+ hours!5
Such a lovely scent with notes of honeysuckle and jasmine. It brings to mind warm summer days and languid dreamy nights. It's much sweeter than anything I would pick out for myself but at the same time I'm in love with this scent. nicely done!5
I personally did not enjoy this scent and neither did anyone in my office. It reminded me of something an OLDER woman would wear, it was very strong. Defiantly not a daytime/office scent.1
I dislike the smell of peaches, so I wasn't crazy about this. Would be interested in sampling other fragrances from the brand, since I did like the various layers of scent in this.2
I loved the name of the perfume and thought it might be something delightfully different. But was very disappointed when I placed it on my wrist, it smelt just like every other over the top in sweetness perfume on the market1
This smelled awful. It is not a light perfume at all and the scent gets worse over time.1
I thought this perfume smelled great, it was very different and fresh, worth $95? not so much...4
This had such a unique set of smells that kept changing throughout the day. The honeysuckle reminded me of my childhood, so it was a very comforting scent to me. I found I kept smelling myself the whole day I was wearing this fragrance. I will be buying this as soon as Christmas is over....unless I get it for Christmas!5
