Lace was spotted on the Fall 2012 runways, and these sweet little numbers take their cue straight from the catwalks. They keep hair secure without snagging strands or leaving ugly creases. A Birchbox exclusive, this trendy collection comes with six ties, so you can wear a different shade almost every day of the week.
I got these in one of my birchboxes, and bought more after a hairdresser friend of mine told me this was a great way to protect my hair from breakage. I have noticed a difference between these ponytail holders and the standard ones that tend to get hair wrapped around them. My only complaint was that I would have liked to get these in more neutral colors, but maybe they do sell them in basic browns and blacks now.4
I liked these hair ties but did find that they still left a crease in your hair at times and the material stretched out over time.4
These are nicer than I anticipated...I only have one as it was a sample in my Pick Two and I was jipped and only got one but.......really cute and easy on the tresses and I got a compliment the first night I wore it! I would not expect that!!4
I was a little leery at first thinking the elastic wouldn't hold, and to my surprise, it did!! I now need to get them in a bunch of colors!4
Love these ties, and the fact that they look good on the wrist before the hair needs to go up. They don't pull my hair or cause strand breaks like regular ties.
For those that have mentioned the stretch factor: I periodically wash mine in a lingerie bag and put them in the dryer (still in the bag). They come out of the dryer tight as new.
I love these hairties. they are so cute, and you can match them to your outfit, and it creates a little bow in the back of your hair!4
This things are awesome. I so preferred them over regular hair ties. I love the colors and how long they last. I have mine is last feb. and I have tons of hair and thick too.4
My hair is very think and fine so these actually hold up pretty well. It still slides a little, but better than most hair bands. And, the bands do not leave dents in your hair - if it's dry.4
I love the colors and look of these ties. I use them as a tie back I carry with me in case I need to put my hair up during the day. However, for thick-haired people, these bands will not be strong enough to hold a high, taut pony on their own. I typically use for a low loose pony or at the end of a braid.4
These twist bands are super cute! Although I was a little disappointed that they weren't actual lace, just a lace design. They're still cute and my favorite hair ties!4
