Lace has been a fixture on recent runways, and these sweet little numbers take their cue straight from the catwalks. They keep hair secure without snagging strands or leaving ugly creases. This colorful collection comes with 12 ties, so you’ll always have plenty of spares on hand. A Birchbox exclusive you won’t find anywhere else!
They are tiny bands. Certainly not head bands. Look cute on the wrist, though. My mistake I suppose. Sorry I purchased these over priced goodies.1
I ordered two 12 packs for my female students. I placed one on each desk for the girls in the morning - don't we all love surprises! Now I have to find a product for the boys!!1
I have quite thick hair, and these hair ties fall out within 5 minutes of putting them in my hair. I find the material to be very slippery, which doesn't help grip into my ponytail. Most of all, the elastic power is far too weak to hold up my hair for any length of time.1
I have relatively thick hair and these bands did little to keep the hair up in a ponytail during the day. Plus, they stretched so much by the end of the day, it was almost pointless to have it in. I have the hairband version of these which I love, but I am not impressed with the hold of the hairties for thick hair!1
This product looks cheap and does not work well at all. Its just an elastic band tied in a knot. What is so exciting about that? I disliked this product the first time I got it and was bummed to get it again in the March 2013 birchbox. Please no more!1
I wish they would not send me anything from twistband. They are tiny little flimsy bands that do not work well in thick, long hair. Enough said.1
I love twistbands from my sample; so I ordered the fall pack - my purple lace one just began to unravel on my wrist after having it on for an hour. Bummer :(1
I used this for the first time and the band stretched out too far though out the day to be of any use. I'm sticking to the traditional hair tie.1
This product looks very cute in ponytails, but cannot actually hold the hair, you have to put in a regular hair tie ten this and honestly for the price that to me is not worth it. I don't this I would ever pay $22 for 12 hair ties even if they worked well.1
I have long hair and frequently use hair ties. These are cute, and I like that I can wear the hair tie around my wrist when my hair is down without the band pinching my wrist. However, after a few uses, its already losing elasticity and the threads are coming out at the end.
For the price they're charging, I would expect a better material thats longer lasting.
