The hair experts over at 12 Benefits tell us that healthy hair gets its strength and shine from a combination of natural proteins and lipids (who knew?). When you subject your hair to too much chemical processing or heat styling, it tends to lose these precious compounds. Thankfully, this leave-in conditioning mist delivers a host of benefits to dry, parched hair—from boosting the vibrancy of your existing color to preventing future damage. Bonus: The light, clean scent lingers all day long.
Well I read the other reviews so I tried it a second time. This made my hair frizzy and in manageable. Maybe I'm using it wrong but the smell is very nice.1
This hair product was not only sticky but made my hair oily and i had to rewash it. (I have oily/combination hair). This product may work better on dry hair. Would not buy.1
Made my hair sticky, couldn't run my fingers through my hair at all. Almost looked like I used an oil based shampoo and didn't wash it out. If you're looking for a nice almost-hairspray that allows for some movement, this may be an option.1
This product made my hair very greasy and sticky. Was unable to wear my hair down after using & had to pull back into a pony because it left my hair feeling dirty. Smelled ok, but i definitely do not recommend especially with my fine hair.1
This product left my hair very greasy and weighed down. It is extremely oily and I would not recommend for fine hair.1
Didn't seem it last long and just wasn't something that screamed me but I did like the fruity smell1
Made my hair extremely greasy!! And it smells bad. Don't like it at all!!1
I was set up for disappointment after seeing the super positive reviews here--I expected amazing. Or at least something! I have long, very fine, slightly wavy, chemically treated hair. It gets weighed down easily, but needs some moisture. I style my hair one of three ways-- 1) blow dry and then wave with a straightener, 2) blow dry sections on a round brush for "straighter hair", 3) put something moisturizing in a scrunch for a beachy look. Plus on days I don't wash my hair, I generally put it up in a messy bun.
I've tried this alone and in combination in all three scenarios. I wanted to give it a fair shot so it's been a couple months of every-other-day use (I wash every other day). I haven't noticed any effect regardless of amount (though when I used a ton one day out of frustration, it just looked flat and slightly greasy). I also cannot stand the smell! I fought through it just in case the miracle everyone else seemed to have with this stuff was just delayed for me. I don't know what happened in my past that is associated with this scent, or if it's just something I can't stand, but it's horrible. It's a medicinal cherry/berry smell to me. My boyfriend felt the same, but he has a poor sense of smell so that may not be a fact to consider. Long story short, I really regret purchasing this stuff since nothing happens and there seems to be no protection since my hair has felt more and more fried since using; I normally put in a bit of argan oil and Hot Toddy, which I will return to.
This was not good for my hair; judging from all the other reviews, I was the only one not satisfied, so maybe it's just me. I use a similar product currently, and I will definitely not be switching. Tried this twice and gave the rest away.1
I washed my hair, then sprayed "liberally" per the directions. I blow dried my hair, and turned out awful. It smelled good, but it was quite oily - I nearly re-washed my hair it was so bad! Oddly, despite the oil, the next day, my hair was dry and brittle, and not very shiny (which I might not blame on the product as the weather also got quite a bit colder). In any case, I really wanted this to have more "benefits". A bit disappointing.1
