The hair experts over at 12 Benefits tell us that healthy hair gets its strength and shine from a combination of natural proteins and lipids (who knew?). When you subject your hair to too much chemical processing or heat styling, it tends to lose these precious compounds. Thankfully, this leave-in conditioning mist delivers a host of benefits to dry, parched hair—from boosting the vibrancy of your existing color to preventing future damage. Bonus: The light, clean scent lingers all day long.
This product might be fine for someone who blow dries their hair extensively. I have naturally curly and fine hair. I did not find this product beneficial to my hair type or regimen of light blow drying.1
I was hoping to like this product-- smells great! But it left my hair oily.1
This product seemed to have no effect on my hair. I have strong, healthy, thick, straight hair with a lot of body. I don't think it really needed this treatment-- so I saw no benefit.1
I really could not tell a difference after using this product. I like the smell and the feel, but nothing changed after I put the product on my hair.1
I did not care for this product. I have fine hair and products like this weigh my hair down and make it look greasy.1
I have very fine hair and extra product like this just ends up making it lose badly needed volume and making it greaser that much quicker - not for me but that doesn't mean it might not be great fr those with thicker hair.1
I have thick, coarse, relaxed, african-american hair...product did nothing for me1
I find that these types of products often weigh down my fine hair, so I tried to go very light in the application, but I still felt it reduced the volume in my hair. It smells nice though...1
The directions on the bottle say "mist hair liberally." So, being the good direction follower that I am - I misted my hair liberally. I would say 5 sprays tops, probably 4 to be honest. It worked fine (doing what detanglers do) for a few hours and then my hair got greasy/chunky. I have pretty long hair so I thought I didn't overdo it. Add to that the smell I didn't really care for and this was a no-go for me.
Come to find out from the website - use sparingly. I'll try it again, maybe, but no time soon.
I use kerastase products that I think does a much better job. My hair didn't feel as smooth and sliky as it normally does after I used this product. Not a fan.1
